Last I heard they'd initially asked for an extra year and only got the six months you're talking about.

Ok. Even so - that is not unreasonable. Extra six months is a LOT of time.

Unreasonable deadline - is what bioware gave obsidian - they gave them 1.5 years to develop the game, and THEN in the middle of production they rushed the release 4 month early. THAT is a shorthanded deadline. And it was done by bioware.

The point is that if Bioware was still on their own, ME3 would've likely released around now. And with enough leeway to not worry about getting crushed by Halo 4 or Black Ops 2. Only Borderlands 2 would've been an issue. Also, if you're referring to KOTOR 2, Bioware only had limited oversight. It was LucasArts that pushed and wanted the game out ahead of the Christmas rush.

Six months IS a lot of time, and they asked for double that. The six months they didnt get is a LOT of time they didnt have to work on stuff.

Your point about KotoR isnt really even relevant, other than as a way of changing the subject.

When, they are likely doing now, what they wanted to do in those six months, AND we already have a game to play in the mean time.  Win/Win scenario. Everybody's happy.

And really, an extra year of development for a game that already had likely two years of development behind it - that is not realistic.

Not everyone is happy the game needed more polishing, proven by the clipping, fetch quests, the journal, graphical glitches and the face import bug that they still haven't fixed. They also have been shortening the time between games.

He can close it if he wants. He just needs his mouse to go to the upper right and click the red x.

Well, what do I have to be pessimistic about? I've already seen C&C4 and Normandy Pick Up Scene. It doesn't get any worse than that. Only good thing lay ahead. ))

Basically it does not show the error mesage anymore but the Shepard you get has nothing to do with the one you had in ME2. (In some cases)

So it was an error message that was the problem?  I always thought it was just that Shepard didn't look the same when imported.  I never got the error message so that is new to me.  I guess the error message thing makes more sense seeing as they worked on that rather quickly, or at least quicker than I expected.

Hello girls/guys! I just stopped by to say "hi" before leaving immediately :P I see Rose is on a school computer. Maybe I should do that myself. So apparently we failed the ridiculously easy challenge? I'm so confused when is comes to those... I'll see you later :)

Hard to believe we failed Vigilance, but I guess we underestimated the amount of escort missions done. I only saw one every other mission I ran over the weekend, if that.

"The Reapers have a plan. We must be ready for anything."

Hmmm.

The ultimate enemy, RNG, has struck again. That or it was a planned "every 4th Op" fail.

I figured we’d fail Vigilance. 250,000 escort missions seemed like an impossible goal since the missions are randomized. I think in the 30 - 40 games I played over the weekend I got an escort mission all of about 10 times.

No game or software is absolutely 100% polished. Heck, I still play this game which has a buggy DirectX 10 mode (flickering textures, among other things). Skyrim was buggy as hell if anyone remembers.

Anyhoo, I'm going to root for more indoctrination stuff.

We lost the operation, but we got more interesting Hackett communique about Reaper planning that leaves me hopeful.

Most importantly, my beloved Kishock got buffed once again. If only I could use it on Starbinger....

I know this isn't the place to ask, but has anyone received their commendation pack yet?
