True, but why change it if IT?

i don't personally think it disproves anything, but. to me it sounds like a "fix" the same way they changed joker's reaction to the explosion, if that makes sense. it affects nothing.

Hey, cheers. I don't know if it's much of a discovery though. What I did notice today is that the hack code which you find on the childs drawing is written in the same format as that one on the window. Probably just a coincidence. It could be nothing. The code is as follows.......65.81.G.97

Also, the name of the Leviathan Artifact, as described on hadleys diary pad reads, P3X118. Could be just a nerdy reference but....

This is interesting, and why would they bring back the Thorian in that datapad, the only thing they have in common with Leviathans is a form of organic indoctrination/mind control like the Rachni.

This is a bug that occurs in other parts of the game, such as killing wrex. His gun changes from a Katana into a Graal mid cutscene.

There's more to the gun than it just changing though. It reloads wrong throughout and TIM's gun uses the wrong sound effect.

Also wrex's appears to change between shots while Shep's changes in a smooth motion. (though I don't think anyone's flycammed the wrex scene to check).

And don't forget their cocky attitude similarities! Just replayed Feros last night and all I could hear was Levi. And I don't know how long Leviathans live, but the Thorian can live for *at least* 50,000 -- through more than one cycle, even. I wouldn't be surprised if Leviathans and Thorian had to battle for thralls. Crazy mind controlling bastards. 

But yeah, I'm fixated on that Thorian mention and what it means for the indoctrination plot(s), which is why I just hijacked this here community. Sup.

 Picture time!!!  Note how similar a thorian and a reaper larva look. It is stated that the design of the human reaper larva fusioned human forms with that of a reaper larva. If we take away everything that is human - from the concept we will essentially get the thorian. so probably thorians are just larvas for leviathnas.

Clearly it is pretty insubstantial to the whole of the IT theory, but it still stands why they would change it. Unless they never intended it in the first, IT or not.

to improve the look of the game? the graphics had some really funky moments after all, throughout. my shepard was always looking where people weren't, for one.

There is still a possibility that they did intend it as big revael later on, but realised that did it way too obvious in the original cut... So they made a patch up that would shut up all the people who were outraged (which it вid) and make it less obvious, so they can make it to their planned reveal on scedule (which it does). :innocent:

the only "problem" with that is that it's from 03/13. nothing, so far, has had a wow factor. and who's to say that their ides of a wow factor wasn't leviathan?
