And its very very very unlikely that "whats in store" is revealing everything we saw in the ending happened as seen.

he could've been refering to leviathan

I doubt he's stupid enough to think a fairly mediocre DLC like Leviathan would have changed anyone's reactions to the endings.

I thought Leviathan was quite good. No earth shattering revelations, but good, and a lot more points for IT.

This is why the end felt mediocre.

To be fair, I compare all ME DLC to LotSB.

In comparison to LotSB, Leviathan was definitely mediocre.

Its an ok DLC, I suppose, but it should have had more effect on the rest of the game than it did.

Perhaps Mr. Gamble should enlighten the masses.

Btw, about the last sentence Leviathan says to Shepard. Did you see how the camera smoothly zoomed in on Ann's face? Has there been any other moment when such an effect was used?

Paxxton, I think it does zoom in on Shepard's face when Ashley is asking how they can fight something that "worms its way into your head."

I liked Leviathan quite a bit, actually.  I mean, was it as good as LotSB?  Not really.  But have ANY pieces of DLC for... heck, just about ANY game, actually been as good as LotSB?  Off the top of my head, no.

Thanks to both of you. As you can see the zooming is way subtlier than in Leviathan, almost unnoticable. I don't say it has any significance story-wise, but it clearly shows the dev team is experimenting with new camera effects.

Extended Cut altered this. He no longer looks in to the camera when he says this dialogue.

Dude, I just ended the game five minutes ago, he still looks into the camera!

Well, people are still thinking about what Gamble could have meant with his post about if we knew what was in store, and there's a bit of discussion about a camera push in the Ashley recruitment scene on the Citadel.  Besides that, not much, as far as I can tell.

He does.  I don't know what that guy was thinking, but Anderson DOES still look in the camera.

Levvy dlc ranks top 2 of all dlc i've ever bought (imo). ( loved the investigative nature, the mystery and the excellent underwater encounter)

Star kid came out of left field, which is part of the reason its so easy to assume he doesn't really exist. Leviathan dlc adds a crucial layer of foreshadowing that makes star kid's existence much more credible. Adding star kid within the narrative, rather than the last five mins hugely legitimizes the final encounter and improves the ending.

Rather than going * who the **** are you?* as you meet him in the last 5 mins of the game, you now expect to deal with this AI controlling the reapers before the games end. You see him approach and recall that this is what levvy was talking about

My bad, I went back and checked, he doesn't look at you during "listen to yourself, your indoctrinated". He does look into the camera when he says their controlling you.

I'll own up to my mistake.

Leviathan confrontation> sovereign
LotSB>Leviathan>Overlord.

Reasoning is purely because im a big Liara fan, and I loved overlords ending, but the virtual reality was a bit tedious

You know, the thing that bothers me this Intelligence thing now is not its existence.  What bothers me is that it supposedly lives on the Citadel.  I mean, the Reapers hide in dark space, they must have some kind of relay that connects to the Citadel, why doesn't the Intelligence (Still not convinced that the 'Catalyst' is the Intelligence.) hide there?  It makes no sense that it would hide on the Citadel.  It's kind of a contrived plot element, if you ask me, that it just "happens" to be on the Citadel and it just "happens" to be the key to triggering the Crucible, which was NOT originally built to use the Citadel.  It would have made much more sense, for me, anyway, if the Intelligence hid in dark space, in the relay that connects to the Citadel, and then revealed itself through Harbinger, or something like that.  And then what the Crucible would do would be to use the Citadel relay to fire some kind of weapon that would destroy the Intelligence and weaken the Reapers letting you obtain victory, if your war assets were powerful enough, which would let you get an awesome cutscene of all your assets fighting together against the Reapers.  Wouldn't that seem like a better ending than what we got?

Edit: And the fact that I was able to think up a better ending than what we got is also partially what suggests to me that something else is going on.  The fact that I could come up with something better than what BioWare gave us just doesn't seem right.

Leviathan was nowhere near as awesome as Sovereign, in my opinion.

All opinion of course.

I loved the little flashes back and forth between different people shep met. I loved the atmosphere under sea. I felt it was very well done. Very cool, so to speak.
