Excellent point.

You do realize that IT does not hinge on post ending DLC right? Bioware intending IT doesn't either. And read what Byne wrote. Bioware has lied to us. A lot. I just hope it's for the better, and not simply false advertising.AllegedVixEo wrote...
Sorry. I guess Bioware lied to me to when they said they weren't changing the ending, and that everything had played out as intended, or that they would not have any more end game DLC, and there would be no more end game playable content. That sounds pretty resounding. But while it may not seem this way now, I didn't come to this forum to ****** on anyone's parade. I was curious as to how this was still going, I asked a few questions and gained some insight and understanding about the movement. Some of the people here are very nice and interesting, and that said, I still don't subscribe to this theory so I think I got what I needed from this forum. Thanks.

'Tis better than Space Magic, I suppose.

You don't really need one. IT is as valid as literal, according to Bioware. As. Just as valid. Not more, not less. Who's to say they didn't intend it?
Hmm. Never thought it might prepare us for DLC, but that makes sense. Especially considering we have no idea what it is. The first ME3 DLC that won't be leaked? If I'm right and they leak things intentionally, than this could be pretty important to keep secret. Like protheans maybe. They didn't add Dominate and Dark Channel into the game for nothing. It would also bring Slam in to MP.D.Sharrah wrote...
Any thoughts on the what the OP failure will bring to MP (in the form of DLC) and if it will have any implications on/from the SP campaign? My hope is that we get to see Leviathan thrall reaper forces...Maurader Shields FTW!?!

If the theory was outright wrong, Bioware would of already said it by now. I wouldn't be surprised if they rode on this theory to back another game with Shepard and expand on what their best writer actually wrote (The guy who came up with the Dark Energy plot but was fired, can't remember his name). I wouldn't mind that actually. If they decide to make another Mass Effect, it better be with Shepard, or I won't buy it and boycott every game Bioware makes after it.

Drew Karpyshyn wasn't fired as far as I know, he left to do other things.
That plot didn't actually make much sense. But he is a good writer.N7 Assass1n wrote...

Ah, that's his name. Well, he was by far the most talented writer they had and the Dark Energy plot had way more potential for awe-defining awesome, and overall closure to the series.

Having a Marauder would be great. I'd paint him to look just like a regular Marauder, then I'd have my geth hunter for geth matches, a marauder for reaper matches, and my old friend the cerberus trooper for cerberus matches.
I could confuse and frighten my teammates no matter what we're fighting!
Moreso it sums up the very concept of a soldier...BansheeOwnage wrote...

If they did introduce Reaper forces...I wonder what they would be...Maruders for sure, probably Cannibals, but what else? I can't see them doing Brutes, Ravagers, or Banshees...and Husks, well do I need to say anything. Maybe this is how they get Adjutants (sp?) into the game? Or start to introduce brand new Reaper forces - like salarian and drell "husks"?

Anyone have an idea how many IT supporters have been playing the game since pretty much day one? I am starting to wonder if that has a big influence on whether or not a gamer believes in IT...

@D.Sharrah and N7 Assass1n Exactly. It's the ONLY theory that Bioware didn't say was wrong from the start! When ME3 was released there were floods of theories from people just trying to make sense of the endings. They were like "Nope. Nope. Nope. IT? Maybe."
Anyway, I should go. I'll be back later. I'll repost my not-so-special vid for anyone who wants to see.

A good friend of mine who insists IT is completely wrong has only played ME1 and 3. He insists ME2 can be skipped because it does not significantly effect what happens in ME3.
