People should teach themselves to communicate their knowledge to others as they gather it. What Iconoclaste says is a classical lecturer and student situation.

Actually, it's a bit more than that. While someone can say to others he "understands" something, it doesn't mean he understands it enough to be able to explain it to others. And even being a good "communicator" doesn't make it up to not understanding the subject enough.

Yeah, but communicating knowledge so that others understand it is a kind of virtue not everyone has. It doesn't mean they can't do their jobs properly. It just means they shouldn't teach at university or at school cause it involves more than just knowing for yourself what you need to do.

This applies to everyday life and business., not only teaching. It's communication, simply. Having bad communication skills doesn't mean the recipients will never be able to understand what you're trying to "teach" (communicate), and in any case it is not a measure of "knowledge". No point in discussing this extensively, though. I just wanted to point out that saying to someone "You just don't get it" while avoiding answering legitimate questions, even simple ones, is just not showing any particular "knowledge", but rather a lack of respect for the least, and maybe the question just flew over this one's head. I'm just annoyed, hey, not "furious"! ;)

GamerTag. It's your username on xbox. Anyone with an xbox will know that, so I didn't see any need to spell it out. Guess I was wrong. Posted Image

Ok, just wanted to add that most people seem to have basic communication skills. Not everyone masters them though.

Add to this the fact that  "bad questions" can be asked, and it's party time!

I sometimes see messages that reveal the need of the poster to be "congratulated" more than "understood", and when someone asks for "clarification" I smile... I sometimes ask for this myself, and I almost always regret later not having read "between the lines" more wisely.

Well, perhaps it would be better if those posters made an effort to better explain what they meant. That way you could convert to an ITist. Posted Image

I don't think they expected much in the way of backlash, given how disorganized and chaotic their response to the community at large was in the first few days/weeks after launch.

Agreed, but I want to know why they didn't. Hopefully their answers can shed some light on that. They must have genuinely thought the endings would please people. That's either really good, Posted Image or really bad. Posted Image I really doubt it's anywhere in between this time... Posted Image

Well, maybe if they had the EC on release, they would've had more room to maneuver. That retake Mass Effect movement must have been a disaster for them, maybe they just hoped that fans would bear with them until they got some DLC out.

Yes. Not sure what to make of it. Chris seemed to suggest that if we're already seeing pics than it's almost done.
