Some people say James might be indoctrinated but eh, it's pretty minor. I don't personally think it means anything.
Ok, it just seems so insignificant but people always bring it up

i just had a thought.. what if?
We arrive on Earth. Everyone we know is indoctrinated. (soldiers / comrades)
However...
People on earth are not.
Therefore we end up fighting our way through husks and stuff... but what if these are actually people who are not indoctrinated, but because we are indoctrinated we see them as something else? Doing the reapers work for them?
Sheps 'Wake Up' would then have him seeing the battle for what it actually is. His friends who are indoctrinated now become his enemies.
Still better than ME3s supposed ending. Would be a massive plot twist.
Sheps visit to the citadel never existed - it was a dream planted in his mind by harbinger before he flew off.
I'd buy that DLC.
Enemies are normal people but your perception is warped. I think there was an outer limits episode about that once.estebanus wrote...

Depends.SubAstris wrote...
I'm saying Shep after that incident should have been totally irrecoverable with/without tech or treatment.
Shep didn't have any barriers left, as expressively shown by marauder shields shooting out their shoulder.TSA_383 wrote...
Depends.
If the "barrier" tech prevented Shep burning up on re-entry and he/she hit soft ground, well, they'd likely be dead, but with armor some way beyond what's currently feasible (as I presume is the standard in these games) then it could be recoverable.
The biggest obstacle would be the brain shifting inside the skull.
Honestly, I think we'll learn more about the Lazarus project in the Omega DLC...

That seems incredibly far out in the speculations realm.RavenEyry wrote...

Yeah I know, Shepards barriers won't have been repaired by that time.Raistlin Majare 1992 wrote...

I was referring to the beginning of ME2 - don't get me wrong, the idea of surviving the crucible explosion is totally retarded if you were actually there...RavenEyry wrote...

Oh right sorry. Weren't there logs that basically said Shep was a lump of goo after that fully armoured reentry.TSA_383 wrote...
