Prettz latest video showed something I hadn't seen mentioned before similar to this. In the shuttle scene when leaving earth, you can briefly see an alliance soldier shooting at refugees. Possible rapid indoctrination signs. (There's also those low res sprites running towards a reaper, but I knew that aready)

I just assumed his gun jammed

What I don't get:
Were there no cameras allowed at that panel when that picture was shown?
Usually you have like a bazillion of people taking photos with their smartphones/tablets/cells/cameras/HUDs/gadgets or even recording videos in crappy quality, when there is shown something remotely significant.
But here you have only one blurry picture? Does not get into my head...

Off-topic:
I have to read through sixty pages of a total synthesis where homogenuos catalysts, some of them consisting of tungsten, are used to control the specific outcome of the reaction. If I refuse to make certain that there is a specific set of boundary conditions, the catalyst may be destroyed. And on top of it, I was reading it in the voice of the codex entries.
I think I had a lethal exposure to Mass Effect lately.

Edit: Typos.

Can future guns jam? And by jam, do you mean start firing of it's own accord?

It's a tiny little guy so the 'bad riting lol' explanation can be they didn't take care with positioning there sprites.

Idk if guns can jam. It just looked that way.

I'd love to be in the same room with these guys while they chart out in game scenes. Is every aspect painstakingly weighed to perfection, or do they just toss things in for a more cinematic feel?

Does this prove IT and that the atendees were being indoctrinated?

Whoa! The longest chemical reactions I ever read were 1-, 2- or at most 3-liners and a full worth of a single page of them. But sixty pages? I've never asked for this.

I've just noticed he was refering to a specific situation in the game. Could you give me a link to a video?

Prettz's indoctrination video. It has a lot of flycammy goodness in it.

I saw it right after it was released but you could point me to a specific part.

It's just before the boy gets on the shuttle. It also shows there was a random bloke who appears to turn into the kid just as Shep looks.

Oh, that one. Maybe he had a bad day. Or got indoctrinated.

Also, the guy that turns into the kid seems to be taking his time to read a newspaper. Maybe he read something so unsettling that the amount of negative energy released created a tiny black hole connecting his surronding to a different Universe and the boy was spit out of it while the man vanished beyond the event horizon.

dafuq did I just read.

Enemies are normal people but your perception is warped. I think there was an outer limits episode about that once.

That seems incredibly far out in the speculations realm.

Pretty standard WNT stuff I thought.  Lots of fiction has used that plot device.  BW themselves used it in a quest in BG2.

I absolutely love prettz's youtube vids. And for those who have taken note... you won't be surprised by this but:

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE USE OF THE TOTAL RECALL THEME IN THE INTRO!

Super cool.

Anything else new folks? I've been hard at work and only able to lurk occasionally.

That explains why one of the husks was yelling "don't shoot, it's me Jacob!"

Risky using a sniper no scope, shot him in the eyes

I hope I shot that guy's balls off, then.

Why would they make Jacob a husk in an illusion?  Don't they know most of us want to shoot him anyway?

Smokingotter is seeing ghostly presences. He's indoctrinated.
