I can tell you Leviathan had four maps (Dr. Bryson's Lab, TGES Mineral Works, Namakli Dig Site, Despoina) and Omega has six apparently...

Can't tell you the size of the maps, though one seems to be a hub...
I would say it's probably not much larger than Leviathan, just based on DLC limitations...

That hub could very well have a couple of hours of exploration and side-quests "assuming they make it as large as the citadel". Or it could be small like Dr. Bryson's lab was for Leviathan and offer less than an hour of gameplay.

All art is the result of creativity compensating for limitation...
No limitation, no advancement...

No advancement, art stagnates, becomes star wars prequel...
Pretty, flippy, but no soul, replaced by tech...

Bill!  Y u no like Star Wars prequels?! :P  In all seriousness, it IS pretty funny.  I didn't hate the prequels, but I understand that there are people who don't like them.  In all honesty, what bothers me more are not the prequels, but that George won't frakking fix the Greedo scene!  And by "Fix," I mean, "Make it exactly what it was before the rereleases."

Indeed.  The 'Greedo shot first' edit just looks bad as well.

And I don't hate the prequels either.  I hate Anakin and Padme's really poor character writing.  And at least the movies improved with each one (in order of worst to best - 1, 2, 4, 3, 6, 5).

i wonder what would have happened if harbinger had shot down the normandy... what would shepard have done... would it have broken him... would his resolve to destroy the reapers be stronger for it.

seems likely he would have been more than a little p***d off... and if indoctrination is true.. harbinger not shooting the ship would have been wise.. i think shep would have been crazy eyed mad... and reasoning with him would have been almost impossible... this i like to believe.. makes the scene more believable

Yeah that's the reasoning a lot of us have as well, TheWill. Not to mention shooting down a Frigate right next to Shepard would likely cause an unfortunate side effect of death.

Its the only way I can stomach that scene.

Idk, Shepard came over with a case of Dead in ME2, but he got better.

Ticked as anything with the Collectors, but alive.

Everytime I play MP and I hear a banshee scream with joy I think "wow! the reapers sound so happy, synthesis must be awesome!"

There's actually a lot of evidence that suggests the dream began with the tank crash right before the beam run. To list just a few, there's the fact that the white intra-dream transistion happens right after Harbinger shoots you, the sheer absurdity of the beam run, how your squad gets on the Normandy with no real complaint (admit it, as long as Javik is breathing, he's going to be fighting Reapers, and he's not going to run away from the most important event yet) how the Normandy got there so fast, where Anderson is, and numerous other things. Also, I believe pretz's video shows that even after James gets on the Normandy, you can still see him right above Shepard's shoulder as he's running.

An indoctrinated Shepard would still need a ship. Normandy is the best ship in the galaxy. No one would trust a indoctrinated Shepard if she/he was riding on the back of Harbinger. Think about it.

Let's go on an adventure Harby!

Edit: "Hey guys, Commander Shepard here, I know I just came out of a reaper vessel, but I'm totally not indoctrinated. You know what's really cool? Injecting reaper nannites into you! (fonzie impression, Shepard puts on sunglasses) ehhhhhhhhh!"

Very dead, but intact enough for Project Lazerus to put Shepard back together again (with some improvements).  The body was pulped, charred, frozen and deoxygenated.  It took a huge amount of resources to bring Shepard back.

Shepard at the Crucible, however, was disintegrated.  There's nothing but ashes to put back together again, and those ashes are scattered all across space after the Citadel explodes.  Shepard can't possibly come back from that.

Hense why the breath scene is impossible, if all that really happened.

I agree.  But I still think the dream-Harbinger wouldn't shoot the Normandy for the same reasons.  Would kind of give away the fact its not real.

So, I think I'm off for the night. You know, I think this might be one of the best days of speculation that we've had in a while. I think we've made some serious discoveries (At least by the standards of the Mark III thread. Don't get me wrong, I love this thread, but all the massive discoveries were made on the Mark I and II threads.).

Maybe, I was just pointing out another, probably more satisfying way you can stomach it. :P

My hope is that they "FINALY" pull there heads out of there..."art"...and make ME3's ending actually about an indoctrination attempt. This will then open up to the "actuall" war that we should have had in the first place instead of a kill-all-reapers-button that came out of nowhere.

Seems so. Though with Ray and Greg leaving...

Honestly it smells fishy too me. Apperently they made the choice right as the EC was announced (which was also when SWTOR was starting to go downhill). Looks like EA are going to have killed yet another developer.

Urgh.
