That would require me to cheat on Liara on the majority of my Shepards, I couldn't do it :(. Even on my renegade(s)...

Honestly it smells fishy too me. Apperently they made the choice right as the EC was announced (which was also when SWTOR was starting to go downhill). Looks like EA are going to have killed yet another developer.

Urgh.

What's more interesting though is that Casey Hudson and friends are working on that new franchise. So they are working on 2 projects simultaneously (the other being obviously ME4).

Um, just a thought, but maybe CH and friends are working on SP DLC for ME3? The way ME3 turned out, it needs a LOT of help...

It can't be helped without changing the ending or bringing in Harbinger, preferably both.

1.ME3 was the biggest let down in gaming history. One that will be remember as such forever.

Hey, I'd not go that far!  There's been plenty of much worse games.  E.T. for example.

And heck, ME3 wouldn't be 'bad' if not for the fact ME1 and ME2 are so amazing.  As a stand alone it would be pretty darn good.

Agreed. I'd go a step farther and say that ME3 was a great game, almost (it felt a bit more rushed) on par with ME1/ME2...if it weren't for an ending so bad that it caused Atlas to shrug.

Yeah, but since they stated that they are planning on a full game, they might be working on it (something preliminary like early design).

Re: Harbinger, I recall a great deal of ****ing on the forums about his "Saturday morning cartoon villain" annoyance in ME2 and, if the notion that Bioware listens to their fans is true, perhaps that explains his almost nonexistent role in ME3. I also heard (to be fair mostly unsubstantiated) rumors that the ME team didn't like the way Harbinger panned out and decided to more or less remove him going forward. Of course, if IT is realized, that could all change, but there's that.

Hmm, never heard anything like that.

Though if true it is strange they gave Harbinger such a major role in Arrival, I mean that is litterally the first time you truly talk to him face to face.

Whether their departures were of good will or not, I don't think it's a coincidence that EAware carpet bombed announcements of DA3, Omega DLC, a future Mass Effect title, AND a new IP at the same time the good doctors "retired".

Heh. Forgot about that.

I was actually thinking of Dragon Age: Origins where you actually CAN have a threesome (or foursome even).

You mean like they're going to crank out thousands over thousands of "Games from the creators of Mass Effect" from now on?

Not exactly. The announcements of company heads leaving would typically worry investors if just given on its own. Announcing new projects helps assuage those worries by letting them know that BioWare has not suddenly become defunct after losing the doctors.

There is that. Side note: We should really arrange an IT group MP weekend at some point.

And when you consider how much after ME2 that was, as well as being developed along side ME3...
