You see, what is strange in this post, is that anyone who does not like or thinks it not to be correct is STRONGLY enouraged to stay away from discussion on it. Like, MAN!! Only those who support IT are allowed to discuss it?? Really Chris?? I thought that discussing means exchanging and examining arguements for and AGAINST sth. I don't judge Chris' post, but it shows that IT is important to Bioware.
Taking into account the context of the thread it was posted in (moving IT to fan-fiction, if I recall correctly), I think Chris' reasoning was probably more that he didn't want flame wars starting over the subject.
But I have no doubt that Bioware are probably inwardly smiling at all the discussion about indoctrination - Indoctrination Dream, Indoctrination Con, Puzzle Theory and the rest - whether they intended it or not (and given all the little audio, visual and story-based clues we'e had and are still recieving, it's pretty much impossible to argue that indoctrination doesn't play SOME part n the storyline).
Looking at the poll regarding a DLC for IT, I wish it had been worded better. I personally would see any DLC that related in someway to indoctrination being quite an in-depth and epic affair, not just some tacked on ending bits and bobs. I'd be happy to pay anywhere up to $25-£30 if it meant that we'd get something along the lines of Dragon Age: Awakening in terms of content....
