On another attention to detail note. On Tuchunka, you're trying to cure the Genophage to allow for an alliance between Turians and Krogan.

What is the only kind of reaper unit being deployed to stop you at the very end of the mission? Posted Image

When the Primarch first asked to get krogan support I looked back at some dead brutes and kept looking for the "What are you, wasted?!" dialogue option.

So, origin just decided that I should be doing something else mid-game.
What do you guys see as the most likely time for omega to be announced/released?

I figure we should be looking for an announcement at least for the MP DLC this next week.

Announcement for Omega I’d say is coming within the next week or two, as for release, if we’re right about the timeline set by the Easter eggs in the Vancouver map and if BW are sticking to ME2 DLC timelines then I’m thinking around the end of October is when we’ll see it.

Things though are strangely quiet on the MP DLC front, Priestly keeps saying there's more coming, one most likely at the end of this month, but apart from this retaliation pack rumour I can't say I've heard a peep out of them or anyone else on what's coming next.

Where did we get the "retaliation pack" thing from anyway?

No one really knows, you know how it is. The part about "Black Arks" made it sounds believable though. Either that, or the person has a great imagination.

Maybe it'll be released the same time as Omega... If it adds an enemy to MP (something the game sure needs...) then it'd make sense for it to come after that enemy has been introduced in SP...

That was onetrueshot although the rumour was kind of validated by the same person that leaked the two previous DLC's on reddit.

Every single piece of ME DLC ever has been leaked. Also, the only ME3 DLC leaked so far that hasn't come true is Collectors in MP...

Also playable protheans.

If this new rumor of playable volus comes true, I'm joining the Reapers.  Humanity does not deserve to exist.

Yeah I don’t see how playable Volus would work. Aside from the fact that if they were to get a suit puncture they’d explode, the codex clearly states that apart from using ships to bombard enemies from space they are not a military orientated race, they solve their conflicts through trade agreements and other methods like that. I also heard the rumour of the Elcor becoming a playable race. While it’s just as unlikely as Volus in MP you have to admit a living tank would be an interesting class to play.

Honestly I can see the next MP DLC adding new enemy types, maps and weapons, maybe even gameplay modes, rather than characters. We have plenty of characters to play as and people have been requesting new enemy types/gameplay modes for ages.

No. Some idiot started it a few weeks ago with a fake DLC leak.

It can't work. It simply can't. The entire reason that the volus don't have a seat on the Council is because one of the requirements is being able to do these types of strike ops. That's the reason that the volus have been kept off the Council according to ME1. But some mouthbreathers have started a big thing about how they want to destroy the ability to take MP seriously by puking that "biotic god" meme constantly and telling anyone who disagrees to get a sense of humor and/or imagination. Instead I got a baseball bat but, sadly, none of them were within swinging distance.

I dont play multiplayer to flex my imagination or my sense of humor.

I'm probably one of the few people who never thought the biotic god was funny.

I didnt even particularly find it amusing in-game when I first ran across him.

Nope, I didn't either.  And it took about 5 seconds for marauder shields to become old in my book.  That ****** meme is getting worse than the arrow to the knee and chuck norris ones.

I found it a mix between amusing and sad. It was like a drunken child trying to beat up a grown man.

But yeah, Volus would be hard to impliment. At best they'd be a serious handicap to play with, and would likely just increase credit gain due to their business contacts. And be utterly hopeless in a fight, relying solely on kenetic (or biotic) barriers to avoid even being touched - and die to even the most minor damage.

But I'd rather they were never implimented, and we got Mercenary varients added to the roster (just like we have Earth and Cerberus variants).

Edit: As for Marauder Shields, it took me a month to even work out what it was referencing.  Yeah...

For the record, I wasn't serious about wanting a volus in mp XD A prothean would be nice though, I mean we do have one of their weapons already.

I'll say one thing for this operation. There's just something heartwarming as well as amusing about a confused and staggered atlas taking headbutts from all four sides.

I kinda want Leviathan-enthralled Reaper troops. I mean, first we got geth, then we got Cerberus defectors. Only got Reaper troops left.

Sounds like a job for Banshee Barrier. Who could resist that charming smile and slender figure?
