That political plan for the arms race is devious but might end up an effective scheme to prepare the Galaxy for the Reaper invasion. Too bad the original Council is so much better than the new one.

They seemed like the reverse to me. The asari was a jerk and the turian was quite nice. The salarian was the same but  with a different voice.

The new Council seems too douchebaggy for the rulers of the Galaxy.

Politicians aren't douchebags?! What kind of magical country are you from?!

Saying the NEW council are douchbags is a bit odd considering the old council was too. (Though I did like that the turian was the first to come to Shepard once things got serious)

I mean the old Council acts with more dignity. That's only my opinion though. I might be wrong. Posted Image

Tevos was weak in ME3. Being Aria's puppet. C'mon, she did not deserve that.

How did Aria resolve her registration problem if Tevos was dead?

I'm kind of confused here.
Don't get me wrong, I like Aria and I am not in general anti-asari (though their abscence at the beginning of the war efforts left a sour taste in my mouth), but I always thought  that Tevos is a well respected diplomat. Yet, Aria can directly call Tevos to solve her problems. Tevos is shown there in a disrespectful manner, imho,... like a puppet, willingly serving a known crime lord lady (don't know if that is correct?). I suppose Aria has got some leverage on Tevos and is kind of blackmailing her. And thus, Tevos does not get my sign of approval.
Just my opinion.
Edit: Okay, I'm online for the challange. Origin ID: Humblegar, who is in?

What I don't get is that Aria is'nt even allowed back on Thessia, being a highly wanted criminal and what not, yet she has her assistant speed dial Tevos, the Asari represenative to the Galaxy who promptly waives all customs and security problems she has... I kind of get the feeling the Mass Effect 3 we bought was written by William C. Dietz.....

No, it's obvious to everyone that's what it wants you to think. Doesn't make it guarenteed truth. Like it was 'obvious to everyone' it was a klencory being of light before EC.

We call it the catalyst because we only know it has something to do with crucible activation. Leviathan calls it the intelligence because it knows more about it than we do. Its an intelligence created by leviathans, that can be used as a catalyst to activate the crucible.

Irissa acts the same way, I'm just speculating here but what if Aria is more than just a merc? Asari are known for the infiltration and sabotage thing, they have had Prothean beacons for we don't know how long, could it be they know Omega is valuable? Or maybe she just knows some dirty secrets.
Anyway origin ID: TevosisHot if anyone wants to do the squad goal

But I think the point they were trying to specify when that coversation happened was that Leviathan never calls "The Intelligence" the "Catalyst".  And the Catalyst's subtitle name hasn't changed from "Child" (at least last I checked...)

So as to add to speculation that the "Catalyst" is lying/differs from the Reapers prime A.I.
I rather like the idea of an A.I. in dark space controlling them from maybe a Reaper-Citadel recharge station?

Haha you mean if she was just like Papa Aethyta? Secret asari commando hiding out as a bartender? I wish but it is so unlikely...

And if Omega had some importance to the asari/galaxy then it would'nt be DLC released 7 months after release... :pinched:

I actually support pretty much the same idea.  The Intelligence is actually in the relay in dark space that connects to the Citadel, and the Crucible is a weapon to destroy him.  My other theory is that Harbinger is going to Assume Direct Control of TIM at some point while he's interfaced with the Crucible with his implants and take control of the Intelligence, making the Reapers the TRUE great threat that they're supposed to be.  Hey!  Maybe the Reapers were the ones who created the Crucible. ;)

This is because the catalyst is a name organics gave it. Leviathans only know it as the intelligence. If we follow that shepard's memories are being used to communicate with star kid, it makes sense to call it child.

Please don't use your speculations as fact. The point we are making is the intelligence and th thing that calls itself the catalyst are not necessarily the same being. It's just made to look that way.

Ah haha what you said about Harbinger trying to usurp their governing intelligence, that got me thinking! And this is why I love speculating here, it never ceases to amaze me what can happen when you bring a bunch  of people together with different views and ideas and throw them all together :D
