Title says it all ,
What's your reaction if halfway through Mass Effect 4 your femshep finds out she's pregnant?

My FemShep won't be making any sequels. She's dead. May she rest in peace. She's earned it.

I will never understand this obsession with having kids in ME. This is a sci-fi RPG shooter, not Harvest Moon or a Sims game. Raising a family just simply makes no sense in any ME game, unless Sims: Mass Effect Edition gets made, God forbid.

What if your femshep was with Liara?

As for rapscallioness - the discussion board explicitly says 'No Spoilers Allowed'
Stick to it. :P

Now, back on track..

An intriguing idea.
Though would your femshep have retired, or stayed military?
And would it be little human feet, little human/turian feet (or adopted), or little blue feet? XD

I'd think, hypothetically, ME4 would be something a bit more like Genesis, and you can make decisions to end your personal Shepard's story.
If you got everything together and had the whole galaxy against the reapers, or if you went with only the clothes on your back and scraped by, I dunno.

Maybe the import-savegame like the main games would be there - I'm just throwing ideas around.

But what would you do if you found out your femshep was preggers?
Liara would probably scold my femshep.
XD

I'd be looking for the option for a Lazarus project 2.0 for Mordin because my canon femshep would somehow be pregnant with a human-turian hybrid baby of all things and he's the only charcacter she'd trust to deal with it.
I've also got 2 others who'd have concieved with out a sperm donor. Also "problematic."

well in this case maybe you can explain how come we are suppose to get attached to each and every character in the ME universe in one way or the other but not feel anything about them or the future that lies ahead.
i personally find it very awkward that you can.
one of the things that makes the game unique IS the fact that you are in ballance with faith in your race, which is Humanity .
what makes us human? if not surviving , expanding and well on a very simplistic way "having babies" is part of humanity . We live we have kids we die , we left something behind. Right?
when you fight for humanity ,do you fight for the elders who will die of old age anyway 2 days later.?
or for the chance to give your kids and they're kids and they're grandkids a better future?

just wondering? is the game SIMS the only thing that is allowed to fantasize about kids?
You must very well keep in mind the fact that when you first put any of the Mass Effect games in your tray you are being asked what your background is , what was your childhood and in the same time ,some of  the options are clear on you being a spacer baby born and raised within military space and ships. What's wrong with that?
Just because people live in ships in space and travel from planets to planets means thinking of babies is wrong?
Kids are the most important aspect of any race , it's how the race survives and advances , no kids = everyone dead. so in the end , if you never think of kids because there never is time for it then the whole race dies in 1 generation.

i don't get it? do you know something about Mass Effect 4 and we don't?
where exactly did i offer any spoilers about a game that doesn't exist.
Maybe you can clarify on that.

As much as I would love this (assuming the baby is from Kaidan), I think it's something that belongs in fanfiction and our headcanons.

How many times does Bioware have to say that ME3 was the end of Shepard's story?

As many times as i will have to repeat that it doesn't matter if shep will be alive or dead , ME4 will continue , you know life doesn't just end when you die . it keeps going on. wether you are dead or alive.
now please rectify your comment and take the spoiler part out , thank you.
Also you don't necessarily have to be alive to have a kid , remember Alien movies? maybe they clone sheppy , maybe she goes in an alternate timeline or back in time .
And your argument is insubstantial.

I never said how she died. I think you're the one that gives away too much by shouting "spoiler".

Run along.

I don't understand where this concept of "Mass Effect 4" is coming from. Mass Effect 3 was the end of the Mass Effect trilogy and the end of Shepard's personal story. There will probably be more Mass Effect games some day. I hope there will be, and I hope I will like them. Yet if and when there is another Mass Effect, it's very likely not to be "Mass Effect 4". They could make a prequel or a game that takes place during the trilogy. The game's conclusion makes that seem more likely. Even if it is a sequel, it won't be about Shepard, and the trend nowadays seems to be to not number things after 3.

You do realise Everything in this game is based on the Mass Effect right?
There can not be a Mass Effect game that will be called anything else but Mass Effect.
Everything works on Mass Effect and ME theory. Now we allready have ME ME2 ME3 , hmm i wonder , what will the next game be called , Pink Fuzzy Candy Floss right?
riiiigh.. that's just like saying , hey let's take lightsabers and Jedi Knights and Sith Lords and Princess Amidala or her late dead Husband Anakin/Darth Vader and put them in a game called something else and not Star Wars LOL!
Let's call it The Smuchetnik Muchentuchen -.-

I....What? I don't think you understand me. There is no reason to believe the next game created will be called "Mass Effect 4". Emphasis on the four. Typically the convention is to use subtitles. More importantly, it is very likely that the next game will be a prequel, interquel, or a sequel set so far into the future that Shepard is irrelevent.

Heroes are never irrelevant , people who make the ultimate sacrifice must always be commended and respected, in other words if they make a prequel and i see baby shep runing around or her mum and dad aboard the Admiral's Starships i would have the deepest respect for her/him. In general that's why we learn history.
When a new piece of technology is created  , you don't just learn how to use it , you instead learn how it was created ,who created it and what kind of person he/she was.
When peace is achieved in the entire galaxy , you don't just take advantage of it you learn about the sacrifices that were made in order for you to have peace. and sometimes even the bad people are remembered.
because from good to bad is but a slight step in the opposite dirrection , today defending your family of some very bad people who want they're harm and tomorrow taking your whole country on a world crusade of dominance.
From a farm boy to a king is but a difference of clothing. But from growing animals and working a piece of land , to ruling over an empire with might and honor is the world of a difference.
Some people make the ultimate sacrifice and with that sometimes attain they're place in history.
I wonder , what would the world be if Leonidas would bow to Xerxes and give him earth and water?
I also gotta ask  , why is it that even now after hundreds of years you remember Leonidas? because he is a hero ,and not just to his family but to an entire nation , a proud nation. Would his son be happy if he lived and stoof by him till he got old and died? Sure , but , was his son proud of his father's unbelievable bravery that will live all throughout the ages? Yes. Because heroes are not made , they rise and they are remembered.

Yes, yes, we all saw the legacy left behind by "The Shepherd". I'm sure people will remember Shepard for a long time to come. That doesn't mean Shepard will be featured as a character.  Shepard can't really be featured in a prequel either because of the save transfer. I suppose it's within the realm of possibility to go backwards and import an ME3 save into a prequel, but ultimately what does that accomplish?

well that's easy  , the Quarians went to seek help from the And'u-rai and found that the Protheans were not the oldest most mightiest race in the galaxy. The reapers were not the real threat , but instead they're entire objective was leading to a point where biological beings meet ascension while they were deprived of it by being immortal and being artificial machines. The whole hatred was based on them being able to live but never achieve what the creators did.
And when the real creators come back , the Reapers are always there to oppose them. However since they got problems with the lesser races , and one of them joins US , humanity finds itself at the bottom of the food chain again pressed into bowing to the newfound masters.
