All of my Fem Shep are alive , she is under the ruin's and need help, this help come from Liara, Liara is the Li for all my Fem Shep, and in this situation Liara is pregnant not Shepy,

my way is Distruction, at ME1 i image destroy the Reaper, save the Galaxy, save Shepard and Liara.

So, for me the Crew and the Squad in Distruction Ending ( the real way) repair the sheep and go to the Sol System for save Shepard.

And this is mt ME4 begining, the Galaxy is in re-costruction and Cerberus and anther new organic hostil species need conquest the Galaxy.

Maybe they havn't heard of this excellent game: The Sims!  Did you know, that you can use 'tools' to make  SIm's, that look like  Mass-Effect characters! <3<3<3<3<3<3 LEt's all go play with turian dolls ,and barbies; via the complex, and 'hard' game called: The Sims.

Given the fact that Sheppie has a nice house earned by beating the Pinnacle Station training-missions, it makes sense that a future Sheppie-centric ME (if that ever happens), revolves a lot around his/her domestic life with his/her LI.

Yes, let's have a ME4 that begins with revolving around Shepard's morning sickness, pregnancy incontinence, pelvic pains and breast feeding troubles, followed by a later part where we get to play her during her action filled time at work turning papers at a desk job. The plot culminates with her exciting trip to day care to pick up her kids before going home to make dinner and do the dishes. Instead of focusing on war and personal conflict, the conversations could be about her and her LI redecorating their house, and the firefights could be replaced with arguments about why they don't have sex anymore.  <_<

I don't think we'll see a future Sheppie-centric ME.

Would only buy if:

• Shepard is an NPC, quite like Anderson as a father figure in ME1.
• Destroy ending is Canon since Synthesis and Control just would ruin the atmosphere of Sci-Fi.
• Drew Karpyshyn and Jack Wall return.
• Focus on Dark Matter.
• Better exploration like Mass Effect 1 & 2.
• Interactive conversations, rather than Mass Effect 3's no options.
• Remove Reputation, it's useless compared to Paragon and Renegade.
• Big ship and a variety of squadmates to fill it, with background missions (Loyalty), like ME2.

Somethings can be changed yes, but if it's anything like ME3. EA can do one and expect one less sale. <_<

Would be a pretty unwelcome distraction, plotwise. Always have to tread pretty lightly around kids, and ultimately, like in movies, most of the time they just come off as a cheap and lazy plot device

Would be sweet if Liara got pregnant though (Although my femshep was/is ALL ABOUT Liara so I'm biased).

therefore  , i do not understand your logic. you would like liara to be pregnant but not shep , now why is that?
Any danger faced by shep is faced by Liara as well  and as much as it would be a distraction for shep it would be the same for liara and therefore shep by extension ..

Because Liara can be pushed into the background ME2 style. Shep is frontline and faced with all the toughest decisions and situations. Liara's pregnancy is simply a development of your romance, Sheperd's pregnancy is a bigger deal when she's obliged to be running around getting shot at all the time. Shep's also the more versatile character and pregnancy is a big modifier to behaviour. Writers can't do much with a pregnant character because people will probably get outraged at some point, and this in turn would blur the lines between renegade/paragon I'd think. Plus a pregnant renegade femshep is trashy

- We're not sure if there will be a Mass Effect 4.

- Even if there is an ME4, Shepard will have no part in it.

- As per that image with an Asari baby, Femshep could never "get pregnant" with an Asari child. It would be the other way around.

on the verge of the collapse of the known world , you don't push aside nobody nor does any body let themselves pushed aside because they are pregnant or not . the question is in fact : would you or anyone step aside knowing there is no tomorrow? you are all dead or going to die anyway is that what you would want for your child? , and a baby isn't magically formed it takes a year to give birth , 4-5 months for signs to show up and "slow" shep or liara. and plus , i was talking about halfway through mass effect 4 , who knows what's happening there ,if sheppy has had an early retirement with her mother on some nice planet O_o.

P.S. A pregnant woman is never trashy , stronger maybe

Well we don't know what Asari pregnancy is like. Maybe Liara would suddenly be ok with the end of the known universe. In any case if they are faced with extinction at that point I think it's fair to say that Liara has enough tact not to tell femshep she's pregnant. She's always been pretty considerate whenever Shep has things on her plate.

I have no problem with femshep getting pregnant or Liara getting pregnant. It's just the timing really. If at the end of ME4 I found out Liara was pregnant with my femshep's baby I'd probably be in tears and everything, but middle of the game, on the cusp of the destruction of all organic life she tells me she's pregnant, it'd be like 'Come on, really?'

My main Shepard (renegade bad-ass) chose refuse, so no space kids for her. Though she did bang Liara before her death so there is a possibility her kids died with their mom in that sad bunker while listening to her self-pitious ramblings about us failing. We didn't fail, we beat the reapers by dying! **** yeah! 

My googly-eyed paragon-Shepard (who's such a tool) on the other hand banged Ashley and then went for the lame-o synthesis ending with sappy hopes for worldpeace.. I don't know what that green radiation does to the embryo, but I could see the Shep-kid(s) being interesting abominations.

Yeah in 3 out of the 4 possible endings Shepard either died or shed her human form for Reaper Form, and in the one where Shepard survived since her neural and cybernetic implants would have been destroyed by the crucible she would most likely end up permanently disabled.

As to the actual question, a pregnancy predefines Shepard too much. This got a bit out of hand in ME3 as it is, don’t need it amplified. That’s just one of the many, many, many reasons this is a bad idea for anything other than fanfic.

Also, for some reason I'm getting visions of the mating scene in Alien: Resurrection. 

The only natural options for Femshep to have a child would be Kaidan or Liara, and I'm not seeing this happen in a post destroy ending (not for a long time, at least).

For Shepard to have a kid, the most plausible scenario is that Shepard had left a frozen egg, or the more dramatic scenario where she creates a Shepard clone after a Control ending.

Just my thoughts.

The father would be either Vega or Alenko. You can't exactly get pregnant by another species unless you're an asari, after all
