Redeem/Purchase Online Pass- Isn't that ORIGIN?

I've been playing Mass Effect 3 since it came out- I pre ordered the Digital Deluxe edition, and downloaded it day 1.  I've been playing multiplayer since day 3.  

In the past 3 days, I've gotten the message where my Galaxy Map should be, instead saying "Redeem/Purchase Online Pass".  Now, I own the game and have all the DLC, and in the past 3 days, I've only been able to get online and be able to play multiplayer 3 times, after restarting the game 12 times.

If this is an idea of a joke, it's a bad one.  I spent $80 on a game that won't allow me to access my online materials, and requires an online connection to actually run, and it won't acknowledge that I, in fact, have launched it from the online pass itself, Origin?

Before you ask, NO, I am not banned, NO, I have not missile glitched (matter of fact, I've never heard of it until yesterday), and NO, I have not recieved any email from EA or Bioware telling me that I have, in fact, been banned for glitching or exploitation of the game.

As I understand it, this appears to only be a problem with Digital Deluxe edition owners and Collector Edition owners.  We are your customers.  The customers are always right.  That's simply how business works.

Fix this.

In theory, someone may have noticed this. In the event that they haven't, I shall bump this, since it appears that some others have had this problem.
This may have to be a daily thing.

I will kindly reply to this message, BioWare has reponded to this issue in the three forums posted below that i found on the first 3 pages of the tech support section below this forum you made. A fix is in the works.

I had same thing. I launched me3 & origin again and problem disapeared

Onishiro- I appreciate those posts, and thank you for placing them here, but they have not helped my problem. A fix has been in the works since day 1. This is an unacceptable business practice. Sure, they have their DLC to make, but really, when the users cannot access their own account and cannot redeem anything since there is no form to redeem. It also appears to be solely a glitch for those who pre-ordered special copies of Mass Effect 3, and the Redeem/Purchase Online Pass message is only supposed to show up on consoles. Not the PC.

This is not a new statement for Bioware to become aware of- this is a statement to fix their already known problem. If they can't, then what kind of company are they trying to be? Releasing a faulty product to those who paid more and gave more into the company is an unacceptable business practice, and they should know that, or pay the consequences of losing customers. I'm doing this, not only for my own interests, but for theirs as well.

Leha.ishenko- I have re-launched Origin and ME3 22 times in the past 4 days now. I've only been able to access my online content 5 times out of the 22. I am glad to hear it worked for you though!

I pre-ordered the physical N7-Edition, and I have the same problem. It is maddening, especially since my friends and colleagues who has standard edition can play. We are the people who went out of our way to pay more for special treatment. I know I'm being petty, but I don't feel like I'm being treated very specially at the moment.

Everyone is allowed to feel petty about something- and most of the time, it's something someone else does wrong.

Deus- I thank you for confirming that you've been having the same problem.

It's been five months Bioware. In game time, that's an eternity. 27 game launches. Only 6 times now have I not had the glitch. This is slightly ridiculous. Any other multiplayer/Online connection required game in the world would have had this fixed week one.

You've had ample time- fix your problem, or expect to lose people. I work in business, and if this begins the practice of apathy towards your customers, your company is going to fail, no matter how popular it is. The customer is right- not you.

Why would I find solution for this FuXXing situation. NOT BW!!
I reinstalled over 20times ME3, origin in 3days!!!

NHKim- I understand your frustration. But please, refrain from using what I would refer to as 'rage' speak. I can see your anger, but I ask you to keep you calm when posting.

I am doing this to attract attention to Bioware's problem, and imploring them to fix it faster for their own good. If they cannot fix their problems, then they will not be deserving of their fanbase, and they will lose it quickly.

Bioware makes great games, and great stories, but they will lose their fanbase if they do not fix their problems.

Our problems should be their primary concern once their product is released, not their plans. Sure, their plans are important, but our problems need to come first- this is how business is run, and is the way it has been run for many years, and if they think they can ignore their customers, then they will fail as a company.

I understand your pain guys, and Tox makes a good point about keeping calm. Over the last few weeks its been my goal in life to gather up a list of all the issues that are affecting MP. I been asking for videos and images of the problems we as players are having and have built quite a list that i am hoping to get a response from BioWare about to date i have gotten no response but alot of people have contributed to the list. Feel free to lend a hand.

Same problem here guys except unable to log on once yet in the last week. Collector's Edition, had it since Apr - pretty disappointing.

NHKim- It is indeed etiquette to remain polite and respectful to your fellow posters and the company/companies that fund this website in order for us to talk together.
My problems are as varied and as numerous as yours. But I do not apply them to this forum, as it is none of my fellow users problems, nor their concern. The point of this post is to bring attention to the technical problem and the problem with their business etiquette- not our personal lives.

I think you are LUCKY to even play 3 multiplayer games after 12 tries!
I am like playing once in every 50 tries. Yeah, thats ONCE IN FIFTY tries!!!!! WHAT THE HELL!
On most of the days I spent about two hours just trying to get connected......of course I can't get pass the  "Redeem/Purchase Online Pass" screen :(
I've been having this problem like 2 MONTHS ago!

I don't think they are taking this probelm seriously...
They should be posting something to at least let us know of the progress if they are DOING something!
I am sure they are clearly aware that MANY people are currently facing this problem by now.
The live chat over at EA doesn't help at all. I've tried all of their recommendings without any luck.
The best thing they did was to provide me with a new Product Key which actually allowed me to connect just ONCE without any problem. That is absurd.....

uspresident- I'm sorry to hear this- please, as Onishiro has stated in a previous post, record this or take a picture of this and post it to his post.

I implore everyone that has this problem to keep up your complaints, keep track of your glitches, and continue to post and to declare to the forums that you are indeed having this problem, and try to get the attention of the developers.

Always, always respect other posters, and respect the admins should they pay attention to this post. This is something we need to bring to their attention, not to complain so much that they ban us from forum use.

If we cannot post politely and cannot maintain a calm demeanor, then I will lock this post, and cease complaint of this case.
