I've tried Me3explorer but I haven't gotten it to work with my textures yet. I'm going to try and get in contact with the creators so I can figure out what I'm doing wrong (and also to ask if they have a Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 version in the works).Mechanic.92 wrote...
hmm... What about Me3explorer? Fast running game with your textures ... Sounds great.:innocent: Is it possible?
If I can bypass Texmod completely and put these textures directly into the game, then we won't have to worry about loading times or performance issues anymore, so I'm definitely hoping we can get it to work!

Unfortunately it's slow work and it'll cause some glitches involving black triangles (that can be fixed), but it's been "done" now - 4 textures in that mod can run in the game without any usage of Texmod at all. Of course there a lot more than four textures...
By the way, playing through single player again and your textures still look great. Really appreciate all the work you do. It's a special part of the experience for me. I did some texture ripping the other day and am amazed at how hideous Tali's default skin is. It's just a giant pixelated blur. You do great work, I'm not sure how i ever played with default textures. >_>

Hey Jean-Luc, Salt is Good accomplished a methodology something like that already. (Full project link here.)

Don't worry - I have no idea what it means either! :V If you ask Salt though he can probably help you with whatever. He's a very friendly individual.JeanLuc761 wrote...

After doing some thinking (and finally getting some free time to devote), I've decided to reprioritize what mod I'm going to release next (though I'll release it alongside the Mass Effect 3 'Dress Blues'). Should be a pleasant surprise.

...those special moments that life brings you...
... like the sound of laughter
... like a butterfly landing on your shoulder to say hello
... like the sun shining through the leaves of the trees as it warms your face
... like the night sky blinking you a lullaby
... I can now add "When JeanLuc761 updates his own thread to express the news of his Mods coming back" to those moments.
What?

Yep, Saren Arterius is next on the list.

THAT is going to be a toughie...the best mods are the ones with all that little detail (Jack) and Saren is probably one of the most detailed in the series.
