Alright folks, I'd like your input on this. My current project is EDI (in her "normal" attire, sans bodysuits), but I'd like to take an informal poll on who should be up next:

- Garrus in default armor
- James in casual outfit & default armor
- Javik in default & alternate armor
- Male & Female Shepard's formal "dress blues" because they look awful.

It would interesting to see what you can do with Garrus' default armour. Smartek did a bang on job with it, but if you can pull off your own thing that is as equally as impressive, then I would like to see that.

I heard James armour is a challenge to work with, and the dress blues are a very easy thing to fix compared to the other three.

Know what else was a challenge? Jack.  *shudder* :pinched:

So that's one vote for Garrus.

I'll say Garrus too. Smartek's is good but somethings off with it. I can't pinpoint what it is.

Garrus, and Dress Blues i use a IBR's Admiral mod but it's ok. Yeah Smartek's Garrus is good but i do agree something is off on it.

I would love to see all the options you listed, by imo the outfitt that needs most a revamp is the formal "dress blues".

If you go with the dress blues keep his rank consistent. 3 black bars.

Unlike a lot of people, the only time i had Garrus was the mission on Menae, James was only used more earlier on in the game, so I'm going to have to vote for the Comedian...err, Javik, and Shep's Navy Blues (both FemShep and MaleShep of course).

Can't wait to see what you're cooking up with EDI JL :)

Cheers

I'd like Garrus, Smarteck did a good job but his version lost the 'shine' and legs&gloves are still very low-res.

Well... Garrus and Javik are my two favourite male squadmates, so it's a no-brainer for me. Of the twos, though, I'd start with Garrus in particular, vanilla textures for Javik are already more than decent so he can wait a bit longer.

Throwing in my vote for Garrus, his armor is so low res it hurts me.

Looove the Miranda retextures, I still have a Shep I made to romance her hanging out in ME2, this is a good excuse to go back and play him.

Can't wait to see your EDI either, the low resolution on her textures really made her design suffer. She's metallic and all about clean lines, kind of defeats that when her seams are all bumpy and weird.

My constant team = Garrus using a Widow and James with a Claymore, everything is dead before I can even make a move. So either of those two is fine with me :-)

My vote goes for the formal outfit first, then Javik. Fantastic work here, Miranda's new look is beautiful and really improves the sense of character progression. I agree that EDI could really use some good texture work to make her good enough for joker! Cheers for your dedication JL

+1 for Garrus. Would it be possible to have the high-res face texture you used for his ME2 model as well? It really gave life to the character.

I'm a Garrus fan, but the default low-res "dress blues" outfits are really awful. Their high-res versions already available looks good but doesn't keeps the ranks consistent. I'm certain that Jeanluc will pay attention to these details. In the game there are at least four dress blues outfits models:
1) Anderson (Admiral) = 3 gold bars in the shoulders, 4 gold bars in the wrists, 2 gold bars in the sleeves near the shoulders
2) Hacket (Fleet Admiral) = 4 gold bars in the shoulders, 4 gold bars in the wrists, 2 gold bars in the sleeves near the shoulder
3) Shepard and some alliance officers like Kahlee Sanders (in mass effect 3 I believe shepard's rank is Staff Commander) = 3 black bars in the shoulders, 4 black bars in the wrists, no bars or stripes in the sleeves
4) Some alliance officers seen in the game (unknown rank) = two black bars in the shoulders, 3 black bars in the wrists, some extra gold details in the whole uniform (gold stripes in the sleeves, back and in the pants)
It worth to notice that all outfits should portray the alliance symbol on them but only hackett's and anderson's does so.
All those details make those outfits desperately in need of a revamp.

I have preference for Garrus

also, may I request a "phenoix armor" version of Ashleys armor?

I support the idea, but I'd suggest using red and white instead of pink, like in the pre-order extra outfit, to make her looking like ME1 Ash minus the silliness of wearing her of pink because she's female:

Maybe you may even use the texmod to invert this bonus outfit and the blue one, to make her wearing the "right" colors all the time, armor or not.

This, plus the "restoration patch" you've been so kind to make already and finally she'll stop to look like a character we've never seen before. I'm just throwing out ideas, though.

I agree with this, Although two versions wouldn't hurt if people wanted to get fussy.

This is amazing stuff. For whatever it's worth, something in ME3 that bugged me is that Alliance personnel and C-Sec personnel wore the exact same uniform. I can't imagine how much work it would be, but either Alliance personnel need a variant uniform, or C-Sec does.

Anyone else find that odd?

Also, had to edit because I forgot to mention, it would be cool to have a high-res version of ME3 Wrex in ME1 and ME2, including his blood red battlemaster armor from ME3.  I thought that armor fit him the best out of any in the series.
