I actually have the file. It downloaded properly. I'm actually using adblock.

Don't know what to say.

Normally I'd say you're trolling. After all, if I can download the ME2 from the same site that I can't download the ME3 texture (any of the ME3 textures including the one you used as an example), something's wrong with the site and not my browser. Nevermind that I used three different browsers which all returned the same site error.  ("File not found [error 6]" is not an error I'd receive locally.)

If you're not trolling, then perhaps it's cached for you. Or you're missing the ME3 label I'm specifically using; "Tali_revised" is the ME2 file and works fine, "Tali_DefaultOutfit" is the ME3 file and is broken. Otherwise I don't know what to say either. If, on the outside chance, that you're just trying to be helpful but made a mistake, thanks nonetheless. :)

Edit: Although the ME2 tali file works, some of the other ME2 files do not exist either.

Specifically:

ME1

Default Shepard (Gamefront) -- works

Garrus (Gamefront) -- doesn't work
Dr. Chakwas Lab Coat (Gamefront) -- doesn't work

ME2

Tali (Gamefront)  -- works
Jack (Kakaimegami) -- works
Thane (Kakaimegami) -- works
Samara (Kakaimegami) -- works
Grunt (Kakaimegami) -- works
Kasumi (Gamefront) -- works

Garrus (Gamefront) -- doesn't work
Jacob (Gamefront) -- doesn't work
Miranda (Gamefront) -- doesn't work
Legion (Gamefront) -- doesn't work
Zaeed (Gamefront) -- doesn't work

ME3

EDI (depostfiles) -- works

Tali (Gamefront) -- doesn't work
Legion (Gamefront) -- doesn't work
Miranda (default) -- no link (hyperlink/tag error or still processing?)
Miranda (alt) (Gamefront) -- doesn't work
Mordin (Gamefront) -- doesn't work
Samara (Gamefront) -- doesn't work
Ashley (Gamefront) -- doesn't work

So all Gamefront links except three (one ME1 and two ME2) are broken. All non-Gamefront links work fine. I hope this list helps!

And JeanLuc, I really like what you've done with the textures! Thank you so much for these and keep up the great work! I'm really looking forward to your Liara edit.

Nah, I wouldn't try to troll anyone. I appreciate the work of community members too much for that.

It was indeed the Tali ME2 file. I downloaded the textures for ME2 and 3 prior to the crash, so I'll make an archive and private message the ones from 3 to you. I would post a public link, but I wouldn't want to do that without Jean-Luc's permission, given it might mess with his recorded downloads or his preferred way of doing things.

Well folks, thanks to the generosity of LordProtector, we will soon have working mirrors for all of the mods. Though no links work yet, you can find the mirror here. I will also update the existing links to reflect the new mirror once everything is in order.

 Aw, shucks.

Means a lot to me actually. Even though I didn't create any texture here and just transfered elements from your diffuse map to the spec one and altered the alpha channel. And then level playing and all that fun stuff. And of course, the hair is smartecks.

The glow was 100% accidental. I just wanted to get rid of the black shiny layer. Instead, I got the blue-glass layer over her shoulders and her glowing parts.

Awesome.  I'm definitely going to play around with the textures and see what I can get.  That glow could be a lot of fun.

@MACharlie - That looks freaking awesome!!! (not quite so keen on the hair texturing, kinda like the super smooth look on that for EDI - rest is brillant though). Any chance of making it public???

It's a neat addition. Thanks for sharing it.

However, much like the spec map I had previously seen for EDI, I'm not a fan of the circles on her breasts. I'm still debatingmy own use (since I honestly wasn't that fond of the original spec map), but my first impression is that it's well done, the lighting was a nice touch, and it's worth investing time on. If you're open to suggestions, I'd say try removing the invisible nipple tassels. (Some higher resolution screenshots would also be welcome. Imgshack is sometimes fickle when it comes to that, I know.)

I'll be the first to admit I prefer subtle over flashy any day. I guess that's why I still dress most of my squadmates in their default uniforms and stat bonuses be damned.

Once I do not want to mess with jeanluc's topic with big posts featuring mods not related directly with his own projects, I will just let a link here: http://social.biowar...92/110#13886273
It is an improved version of the Alliance Dress Blues, edited by me, in order to keep the ranks consistent, I think is worth a look.

I saw those the other night, I enjoyed them for my NG+ insanity replay (my first NG+, but coincides beautifully for Leviathan's release -- but then it should since I delayed it for two weeks). Leviathan is the reason I'm so caught up getting as many high res textures as I can.

I also really liked the blue-edited alliance soldier outfits. (Smarteck's had gold worked into the shoulders, someone edited that back to blue. Really disliked the discontinuity of the gold.) As you can no doubt tell, heh, I'm particular about some things.

I don't think there's anything wrong with cross-use of textures (I'm using Smarteck's high resolution Liara until JeanLuc finishes his), but I think if you post it on a new thread in the Fan Creations subforum you'll discover more people find it rather than tacking it on a multi-page thread. I bet there's a ton I've missed because of instances of that.

For me, JeanLuc's textures just seem more authentic to the originals in some cases, which I appreciate. Speaking of appreciate, scrubbing off Ashley's makeup was really nice. Not perfect (her lips seem odd when moving), but I certainly prefer it to the original/hussy-version any day! I only wish the game used the squad-chosen outfits for her cutscenes instead of defaulting to her blue mini-skirt outfit.

The fact that I also updated her bump map so now her ****** kinda of stick out a little more is funny though.

And truthfully, I really wasn't going for anything original - I just didn't like how she had this shiny black texture covering up all her parts after a shuttle explosion. I wanted her to look more gritty. The fact that her parts glow now was 100% accidental though. Purely.

And if anyone wants it, see my signature. I'm done hijacking this thread. :bandit:

Nevermind "piddly" 1080p, I'm looking forward to seeing it tonight in 2560x1440 glory :o

And thanks for letting us use it too MACharlie, even if it was purely accidental ;)
