I think I did Lyncoln a disservice here. I didn't pay attention to the fact that his revision is someone else's texture and advised a new thread accordingly.
In my experience, if you revise someone else's content, if you post it in their thread they'll usually link towards it if they're nice (and most do) for people to better access alternates of something they originally created. I know Smarteck has done this before.
My bad in responding before fully understanding the situation; or in this case, wishing for something (new threads for mods) when it's not fully in context to your subject. My only excuse is that it was 2am and I was tired. I still enjoyed the mod though!

I'm wondering how you accidentally break a mouse...or did it involve some re-texturing frustration and launching the poor mouse into the wall??JeanLuc761 wrote...

My RAT7 died last weekend, one of the buttons just stopped working. Fortunately I had a replacement plan on it and got a new Logitech G500 which I like much more. Plus since the G500 was only $50.00 I got $67.00 on a gift card.
My RAT7 broke on me last year too (the little plastic bit that holds the wheel between the left and right buttons snapped). That mouse is just plagued with problems. Makes a cool looking paperweight, I guess...

Other than than the button that stopped working, my biggest complaint is that where the mouse met my hand below my thumb was uncomfortable. The adjustment either made it too short to use or on the next longest notch, it was irritateing to my hand. The Logitech G500 is very comfortable and has as many buttons. The software for the RAT7 is MUCH better though.

I opened the mouse up to clean it and apparently broke a wire or something because the left click stopped working.gilberto3001 wrote...

Aw, shucks.
Means a lot to me actually. Even though I didn't create any texture here and just transfered elements from your diffuse map to the spec one and altered the alpha channel. And then level playing and all that fun stuff. And of course, the hair is smartecks.
More pics:
The glow was 100% accidental. I just wanted to get rid of the black shiny layer. Instead, I got the blue-glass layer over her shoulders and her glowing parts.

So what did you end up deciding to work on JeanLuc?
The last we heard from him here, he was working on EDI (and finished it) and Liara (default armour if memory serves). I don't recall any other concurrent projects.
I admit, I'm anxiously awaiting the Liara addition, but I am curious what's in the works afterwards.
My wishlist (in order) would be:
1. Liara (default armour)
2. Liara's From Ashes armour.
3. Garrus (default armour)
4. Garrus (+weapon damage armour, whichever of the three looks best)
5. Outfits for npcs (correct the dirty hands on the alliance military, and Shepard's all black soldier uniform would be wonderful - both genders)
6. Turian armour for npcs (Smarteck has a version, but I really dislike the lights -- at first I thought it was his texture, but when I stopped using the tpf, I realised that the default turian armour texture has the same horrible light strip all over them. I'd love to see those lights completely removed. There are in-game versions without it, or more subtle about it -- like Garrus' armour, which uses circular lights instead of velcro strip-sized lights all over.)
7. Priority: Earth scorrched armour, worn by Shepard in the citadel.
Since JeanLuc mostly works on armour, that's all I can think of.
However, I'd also love to see someone work on better skin textures (skin in ME3 looks pretty low res, especially the third complexion for FemShep), and doing something similar to the Dragon Age mod called 'realistic teeth' for ME3. (I swear they hired digital artists from Great Britain!)

I tried the mods on ME1 and they worked just fine but I am having difficulty using the mods in ME2. When I click "Run" after selecting the textures I want applied (all of them if that matters) the game starts but it always remains in a dark screen. It doesn't even get to the Main Menu. Could someone help me?
The dark screen is normal, it's just loading the textures into memory. This can take 3-15 minutes, depending on your computer. I think ME3, with all the textures I run, takes 3-5 minutes to start and it's a fast computer.
It's just the price you pay for better quality textures.

Once that's finished, whatever. Alt costumes if that's what people want. I'd probably like major plot characters dealt with, much like you're already doing.

I know it's a low end PC but do you think it will really take 15 minutes to start playing? And can I even do it smoothly?
Thank you for your help in advance

Yah you should be fine. And the length of time it takes to load ME3 is dependant on how many replacement texture's you're loading. Usually it's around 5 minutes. Just start up your web browser in advance prior to loading ME3 through Texmod, so you can browse the web, etc. while it's loading the textures. You'll know it's done when you hear you hear the intro logo sounds, etc. Getting a cup of coffee is also another option.
I think that PC is fine for ME3- ME3 is aesthetically pretty but not technically impressive.
