I'm still here because 6 months ago I witnessed my favorite franchise get torched in 10 minutes flat.

im here because ME1 blew my mind.

also because ME2 and ME3 are more like subpar spin offs set in the MEuniverse rather then continuations of the story set in ME1. which also blows my mind.

its unfortunate for me the same group that made ME1 wasnt making ME2 or ME3.

I am still here, because my friends play the multiplayer and I like to give constructive feed back why their game is garbage compare to its predecessors.

I think you're still here and still complaining because you have a horribly empty life.

Your life involves complainging about a video game that released 4 months ago and making threads about a fictional characters anus.

I choose to spend my time discussing things I like, you choose to spend your time complaing about things you don't like. Which is more pathetic?

I'm still here because all the self-righteousness and sanctimony and hypocrisy amuses the hell out of me.

And because I actually like ME3. Which is novel, I suppose, on a forum for ME3.

Just please stop telling everyone. We had enough revelations about why EXACTLY this is a bad game.

I'm not saying that you have no right to voice your opinion, OR that there should be one thread for every complaint. But can't we have a whole subforum for threads like this? I like discussing the lore, but each forum is just flodded with threads like that, suffocating some with interesting thoughts and ideas about the ME verse. You definitely are not doing this out of evil will, I know, but there actually IS a chance that wanting to fight for better games can be egoistic and rude. The only thing that connects this community appears to be hatred, disgust and disappointment.

Well, because I want to make sure that Bioware will not go away with what they have done - deliberately releasing subpar product. I am here complaining (whining) to make a point - you do not treat your customers like that. Maybe they will listen, maybe not (99% chance they do not listen at all), but this will never be forgotten.

For the better games.

"SUB PAR" product huh, tc?

I hear Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is coming out in a few months.  Just as it always has EVERY 12 MONTHS since 2005.  BO2 will win GOTY over ME3 (and formally Bioshock Infinite- delayed 2013).

I just know it!!!! :o

Sorry for OOT, but:

Wasn't Black Ops "just" an average shooter? (at least for me it was)
Why all that Black Ops 2 hype?

Well, if some thing is bad, but there is something worse which makes first thing look good by comparsion, it odes not make it good thing itself.

this. Though from what I´ve heard this is more or less intentional. Some people who actually HATE the game still show up here 3 times a day just to post how much they do so, if not outright calling for a general boycot. If their self-indulgant crusade disrupts some "fanboys" from comming together and shooting the breeze, then that may be unfortunate or not.

To all you disgruntled gamers out there:

- We know and understand how you feel about the ending

- Bioware is aware of your opinions

- You are not being cohersed, nor pressured or manipulated, into buying DLCs

- It has been 4 months since release

- Check your previus OPs before creating a new thread, there´s a good chance you´ve  already written something very similar.

Thats weak there.

Thats like if i compare Metal Gear Solid 4 to Superman 64.  SM64 will make MGS4 look better too, and of course during its release there were haters and controversy around the ending.

But ME3 is not as bad as you wanna keep saying it is.  I don't feel that way.  But if this is the type of thinking individuals wanna continue for the next 30 years (including ppl who tell me they'll never, ever, evarrrr buy a EA game for eternity)  then so be it.

I'm just fed up with YouTube being filled with the same damn repetitive, angry, annoying comments 100000x over.  We get it, we know, we heard it ALL before.  You hate BW, you wanna murder Casey Hudson and Walters, you wanna bomb BW HQ. I went on YouTube to enjoy some ME related vids, guess what I saw?  Same comments on the "Hate BW bandwagon to the extreme- If you don't we call you a BIO DRONE!!" group. (like I care either)

"F-YOU EA!!"  "F*** U HUDSON" "RRHHAA  F-ING rEApers RUINED IT!  RUIN I TELL YOU!!!" Repeat x450000

In any media, like movies or games, there is line that once that threshold is crossed, goes into annoying obnoxious territory, no longer mature, no longer productive.  No longer respectful.  Bioware put in like 8 years of their lives and time to give people this trilogy.  And it is far better than many games I have played.  a personal fav, and ME2 is one of my top 10 games of all time.  I'm honestly thankful for the labor put into this.  WRPGS are on the rise, and ME is far better than FF now, since that game is goin downhill fast.

I worry this may be a trend for any media in the future.  What happens if my favorite director (Ridley Scott) makes a new film, and I don't like ending!?!?  "OMG I'M GONNA RAGE nonstop for thext 10-100 months!!!  F YOU RIDLEY!!!  I'm gonna kill you now!!"

I spent the last many years loving the hell out of this franchise. I can't just stop now.

ME3 is a rushed, disappointing money-grab, and I will never ever stop voicing my discontent. I have no problem with people loving it, opinions you know.

But ME3, to me, was supposed to me the greatest game of all time. It was supposed to be huge, with an insane amount of variables and it was supposed to be Bioware's crowning jewel. The first time the studio made full trilogy, and they stumble at the finish line.

I don't just hate the endings. ME3 disappoints with many, many things. Priority Earth is a horribly dull last level, the whole game just feels uninspired, like they wanted to be done with it and move on.

I will never stop. ME3, you were supposed to be the chosen one.

My feelings in a nutshell.

You pay money for everything. when I paid for COD long ago, I ended up feeling like thats more of a rip off than ME3. Also when you buy a game. You don't own everything. And when you sign up for EA Origin to play MP, as well use BSN, you click the "I agree to these terms" box for their ToS. If you don't agree violate that, they have a right to ban you from MP or other things. But I digress. Still another example. Yes you paid money. doesn't mean its your IP to control.

nvm all of what I said. You do your own thing. keep on trucking.

Ok, I am going to try and say this without being overly critical. It has been way to long for people to still be complaining this much about the ending of ME3. Like most of you guys, I have been playing these games since the first installment. When I beat the game I was very upset at their ending. My main reason was that I have been fighting the reapers for three games now, and then all of the sudden, I am supposed to trust Reaper technology as to how to deal with them? Not only that, but I am also told that the best decision is to save the reapers and to merge them with all organics? Ya, I totally didn't buy that.
But Bioware earned my respect back. When everyone was hating on Bioware (me included) they stood by their original story and supported their writers. That is the harder alternative to throwing the writers under the bus. Then they added the extended cut DLC to try and appease those who wanted more closure. Personally, that didn't satisfy me any because it didn't address the problems I had. But Bioware said that they were not going to change their original ending, so I couldn't find any reason to get upset again.
When it comes down to it, Mass Effect 3 was my favorite game of the series. It was a game filled with conclusions to all the stories you have been a part of for three games. We got to decide the fate of the Krogan. We mediated between the Geth and the Quarians. We had great conclusions with all of the crew-mates we had acquired over the years. I hate that they ended the game the way they did, but to say that the entire game was bad because of it just doesn't make any sense. They really outdid themselves in this installment.
