Hey Folks,

i love to play my M-98 "Widow / Black Widow" with an infiltrator on ME3 MP, so i decided to build my own one in 1:1.

Specifications:

Construction time: ca. 6 weeks
Costs: ca. 60 Euro
Materials: various sheets of Poly, wood, Plastics, PVC-pipes, Apoxie sculp

The finished Replica:























I know the Replica is not perfect, but i'm satisfied with it.

@Kevchy: i could not find any blueprints on the internet, so i had to use pics from an another Replica that a Guy build and ingame Pics via screenshot. Because of that, i dont have any measurements to build the Widow.

Could you post a How To, on how you made it? That looks awesome and would be great for Cosplay.

You can probably base the measurements off the Barrett M82. I say that would be a fairly good start to look to for measurements.

I love the Widow in MP, regret it doesn't do that much damage and is therefore not that useful.

But it looks and sounds great and this is a wonderful replica of it!

Good job! I like how you show some wear and tear on it, with the roughed up edges!

my english is too bad to create a How To in english, but i shoot many pics while building the Widow. If you are interested, please send me an email.

I didnt want to build the Widow brandnew, so i decided to gave her an used-look. That includes scratches in metal-color and abrasions to the light-gray stripes with the dry-brush-technique.

The overall-length is 1,10 meters without the barrel extension. I hope thats approximately correct.

The next step is to build the barrel extension, so the "lady" will have a lenght of 1,41 meters.
