Hi guys.
Usually when I play I play with friends and we use Steam's voice chat function to communicate. However, recently a few people have been talking in-game when I play with randoms and I am unable to respond to them. I tested this with a friend and found that my mic transmits VERY quietly.
I have it set to push-to-talk and if I shout into the mic with my mouth right next to it, my friend can just BARELY hear me.
Any idea why this is and how to fix it? As I said, I usually use Steam's voice chat which works fine, so I don't think it's a problem with my mic gain/sensitivity.
Voice Chat.

ME3 voice chat is sooooo bad. Trust me. Push to talk doesn't work correctly. And If you let the mic always on... well. Some ppl can shout at you cause they don't want to hear you hitting your keyboard when you play.
I tried to fix the mic sensibility, I've at high atm. And it works "nicely", but only leaving it open all the time. In low the others can barely hear you.
So... I can only tell you to leave the mic open all the time and when you've to say something just approach and talk. Try it that way, it may fix your problem, because push-to-talk works very bad D;!

Ah, thanks for the advice. My mic is actually very good when it comes to not picking up my keyboard taps and such. I might give it a try and see if anyone gets mad at me.

Set the mic in key bindings options. Don't ever leave the mic on all the time unless you use headphones...that echo is terrible terrible terrible...did I mention echo is terrible?
