M/M F/F makes no difference. Both are capable of the same amount of love and compassion as M/F
And it would work the same for aliens as well. We just haven't entered that territory yet.

I'm sorry, but my neighbor is a lizard-man and he's like a real human underneath all those scales.
I don't see a problem here.
I'm also dating a hot blue mono-gendered woman who's sitting on my lap as I type.

1. Incest
2. Abusive relationships, especially physically.
Picking nits though, I get what you were trying to say.

I did. You said that a high percentage of bi LIs would be, in your opinion, 'unrealistic'.
But you're fine with giant space coackroaches, romancing lizard-men and said lizard-men being treated as fundamentally human.

Monogender simply means one gender though. And all Codex entries clearly state Asari are female.

Well, if your bar is set to "real life" romance, then yeah, these ones will fail.
But they all fail so it's not fair to single out s/s ones.
Its easier to single them out when they had no presence in the prequels. Next to Ashley's remoddling and the lack of association with much of the ME2 cast. Adding more options takes away material from other things. Which to a degree, was correct about the implementation of MP and Kinect features. Cutting Weapon Holstering and Helmet Light to Mouth movement is another thing.

*sigh* read my previous post.
I am not bothered at all by the presence of S/S romance in game, I may not like it, but I don't want it removed. I just don't want them adding or changing romance options after the game is released. I do support extra romance content for all options.
Agreeing with that, whatever damage or character writing is set to stone. Expanding and making them more detailed is about the only thing I can recommend after they tidy up the Intro and Ending.

Consensual is the key word there mate.
A consenting incestuous relationship is an issue though.
But I don't know were abuse comes in. If you're consenting to BSDM I don't really care if it's consensual.

Quite simply she was part of the main cast, Shepard's team. Making her an Admiral was the unconvincing mistake. Having her back in ME2 looked much more like fanservice but bringing her back there establishes her as one of the core group of characters beyond question - Shepard, Garrus, Liara, Tali, and Joker (even with Liara's peripheral, at least without LotSB, ME2 presence). Some people may include Wrex and the VS but they both felt slightly more peripheral to me, colleagues rather than friends and confidants.incinerator950 wrote...
It was actually planned some where early or mid development that Tali wouldn't rejoin you as a squadmate (more or less in the air). It was obviously added in, along with her Admiral status, or her return to the fleet from exile, as pure fanpanning, especially when she wasn't needed in the slightest, minus Peace.
Anyway, that's off-topic for this thread.

This means, romancing and character interactions should not be something totally away from what we experience nowerdays in advanced, enlightened civilization.
Such as romancing lizard-men, mono-gendered space babes and chicken-footed women in envirosuits.

Liara states in ME1 that using the terms male and female within the Asari society does not make sense since it's a monogendered species. By definition gender is determined by the size of the gametes (if I recall wikipedia correctly), females are the ones with the larger ones. Pointless with a monogendered species. Codex entries state them as female, but that's just another inconsistency. They look more like human females than human males, but they really are neither. Applying these categories to the Asari is like comparing the size of two complex numbers. It simply can't be done.F4H bandicoot wrote...

There is one example of a species that is more or less alien and that's the Reapers (at least in ME1). Even if they didn't want to wipe out all organic life, despite the fact that it would be impossible from a "technical" point of view, such a romance would be unrealistic. The Uncanny wrote...
