On pc, way down in South Africa. Got both packs almost as soon as they came out.
Had the Demolisher and Paladin.
I really wanted the Shadow. Got it!!! WhooHoo!!

I haven't played the N7 Paladin enough to know whether or not I like it. However, I didn't have it before. The N7 Eagle I didn't have either, but I got it now. I like it well enough in the single player game. I normally carry that as a backup weapon over an SMG for the soldier class Shepard if I am using a slower harder hitting assault weapon like the M-96 Mattock or the M-37 Falcon. If I use the M-76 Revenant, I'll switch it up and use a slower firing, harder hitting heavy pistol like the M-77 Paladin.

I think the N7 Eagle is a good alternative to the M-3 Predator (though I use pistols with very few of my MP builds) in a lot of cases. So I'm pleased to have it.

I thought about that. But I use the N7 Typhoon with the destroyer and while the N7 Eagle might make an OK backup weapon to get me to the ammunition supply crates, I've had great success with the M-11 Wraith and other shotguns. I'm not sure I need another rapid firing weapon, especially not one as weak as pistols are. But there are plenty of other classes which would benefit from the N7 Eagle.

after contacting ea support they told me they cant add commendation pack to my account yet. they told me to check back after 24 hours. missed 1st 2 event, and for every later events i had to contact support. but they always behaves friendly and i had no problem to get my pack.

My pal has only the paladin & a shadow...he got character training for the paladin, what a load of rubbish!

You have to select an option from "Category" followed by your "Platform" at the top, you will then be able to select how you want to contact customer support. As others have mentioned though, don't bother right now because EA customer support wont do anything for you. They will simply tell you they might be able to do something in a couple days so check back then.

PC player here, got both packs quickly and I got exactly the same items you did. N7 Paladin character and N7 Eagle pistol.
