Thanks for the help, and believe me I'm trying, I'm logged in but when I go to the link you gave, or use the "contact us" box on the right, it just reverts to help.ea.com/ where there are no options for contact.
I've even tried it in Chrome, the Origin client, and even (shudder) IE just in case Firefox is causing it, I get the same thing in those.

I just did this on behalf of my boyfriend who's away at the moment, we both use firefox. I went to EA help, bottom right of the page, changed the country to USA (I'm in the UK), back to the top of the page 'contact us', and well, it's explained fully here
They sorted it right away through live chat, I was very impressed!

Also for thoses who have issues accessing the live chat option using any web browser let me remind you that you can also access that help using the origin client.
Like..
Launch our beloved origin (sarcasm) and click on the "?" button (aka HELP) and another small window will open with the option for live chat.

I also got an N7 Slayer from the Victory pack, which I will probably give a go but I was put off slightly as a result of a bronze game I played at the weekend that had two N7 Slayers at level 20; had to go to the other side of the map to stop my screen shaking...
Thanks for the tip about contacting support through email. Only took about an hour to get my Commendation Pack.
