I got kicked from bronze for being too low of a level.

It is not something you can comprehend.

Not even a pic of Jackie Chan doing the what face would be worthy enough for this

This sounds like an xbox360 problem. PC players are way more tolerant of low N7 and generally don't talk much, nor do they send hostile messages...

Seriously, why is it that all the obnoxious people tend to always be XBL players?

Thats bull. Everyone on Xbox isn't a raging a-hole just like Im sure everyone on PC isn't an elitist dick. Stop generalizing so much.

This
Most people that I play with don't even use a mic.

I don't judge people by their ranking, but by their personailty.

If you're cool it doesn't matter if you're N7 16 or N7 9001

If you're a dick, I'll call you a dick.

Well said! Although, I admit that sometimes when none of my friends are online I purposefully seek out Bronze pugs with the lowest N7 ranking I can find in order to help them out.

I remember what a nightmare it was for me when I first started playing MP. Honestly, that's the only time I even pay attention to N7 ranking. LOL half of my friends are lower N7 ranking than my 690, and they are MUUUUUUUCH better players than myself, and some of the people I've randomly played with who have an N7 in the 1,000's.

I don't really like levelling all that much, myself, so I only do it on weekend events that require it, now. My score is high enough to make the SP easy enough to get the endings I wanted before they changed that system.

i only pay attention to the n7 if it is extremely low, and only to the point of being aware that this person is new to the multiplayer. no judgement though, we were all there at one point.

Don't mean to sound evil but I don't trust players in SIlver whose N7 rank is less than 150.
I kinda think that they probabbly havn't got their specs right. After playing with a level 15 infitrator on silver who was using a IV Avenger and II Predator, I'm a little weary of those with low ranks.

if some one threatened to kill me over my N7 rank, I would double dog dare them to kill me.

150 ins't even a low rank. if they leveld eveyrhting to 20 (passing the 120 mark usually) playing only bronze they should move up to silver

I'm usually just impressed that ppl with really high N7 ranks go thru and promote so much (I personally hate it). But I don't believe they are better or worse..same with low level N7's. But death threats?? WTF

N7 ranking has no meaning. Human reasoning is potentially flawed and anyone who judges based on preconceived notions will likely still kick players out of baseless fears.

Well, there's only like 2 cities in Alaska, right? Anchorage and Juneau. I can't think of any others.

Nome

There's quite a few. I used to live in a remote town. Then Fairbanks, then Anchorage. And now somewhere else. It was just weird that he guessed.

You should have told him you lived in Sicily. Right next to the moose who kept wandering into the shot.

   I miss that show...

Being serious a moment, I think any human being would have been seriously freaked out if something like that happened. Hopefully someone will get him help.

Report the death threat player and get him banned. Certain things should have zero tolerance in my opinion (assuming it was an actual death threat).

As for ppl being dicks about n7, just ignore them. Shame on them for expecting to be carried anyways. As long as you can stand your own, that's fine. And if not, just be a team player and focus on things like reviving, power combos, etc.

It is strange. I don't promote - why bother? I 've decided that I enjoy levelling up characters as much as I enjoy getting double cryo ammo IV in PSPs - so my N7 level is around 600. I regularly get kicked from gold and platinum matches by 1000's... even though my loadout is significantly more advanced than the rest of the group (see my manifest).

Loadout, class choice and gear should are the real key indicators of player experience. N7 is often a red herring - and frankly does a disservice to teams looking to an N72000 to carry them through a tough spot, only to realize that he/she really shouldn't have played that drellguard with the default loadout on FBGG

That said, I'd call Xbox customer support to ensure that they're following up on that death threat. While it was almost certainly hollow, it shouldn't go unpunished
