Well I never trusted her from ME1 so I'm not surprised.

I've never seen a tm or copyright stamp in any of your posts.

It's trademarked.

I assure you.

We have a patent pending on our "Art Machine" that speculates for you.

Apparently you missed the tweet from her writer stating that she did, in fact, not do it.

I got Quarian tail in the end, why would I care about -1- other ship having Normandy stealth? At least its friendly! You don't hear about Quarians firing on council races, not like those dang Geth. Rip their lights out and take their Double A's out to cram them in the light socket.

Tali should never have been allowed access to the engine room. Ash was right.

Well I don't have Twitter so I did indeed miss it. I still didn't trust her in ME1 and still barely trust her-- I just wasn't surprised hearing about it.

When you start the Rannoch storyline, you dock with the Quarian Diplomatic vessel.

It's described as a vessel similar to other Quarian models, yet possessing a very advanced Stealth technology, not unlike that of the Normandy. It is also 'unsure' how the Quarians acquired such tech.

Then it hit me: IT WAS THAT TWO-TIMING **** TALI!!!!!!!!!!!!

All playing innocent nerdy schoolgirl in Mass Effect 2.... yet she would omni-tool-scan the hell out of your ship every single time you were not looking! Even after you agreed to be her lawyer free of charge!!!!! >:((((((

I swear that thought completely changed my overall feelings about her. And i mean over the whole trilogy.

What do you think? I mean yeah, giggly Quarian bums and all, but how can we really trust Tali? How many times would she sacrifice Shepard to give the flotilla the slightest edge?

I am now unsure about my decision to kill the Geth with my soldier on 1st playthrough. He might be a renegade, but sure as hell he is against slavery....

Who cares?

The Normandy's stealth drive was co-created with the Turians, who the Quarians at least have an amicable relationship with(and a cheesy romance film.) They could have got the tech from them.

There's also the possibility that. . .

. . .maybe the Quarians are smart enough to develop a stealth drive on their own.

. . .they savlaged the wreck of the old Normandy, which had a stealth drive.

. . .they asked the Alliance to share the specs.

. . .the drive skematics AREN'T classIFIED!

By this assumption, Garrus technically stole the designs of the Thanix cannon from the Turian Hierachy (who in turn developed this without telling anyone else until they'd finished it) and applied it to the Normandy which was a Cerberus ship. At that point, he had barely any ranking in the Hierachy and only went up the meritocracy when he told his Dad everything about the Collectors and the Reapers which was probably after Arrival.

I'm sure nobody here was complaining.

Garrus did so, but on a wholly different level. He was completely rogue at the time.

But unlike Tali, also transparent about it.

Yes, he did 'steal', but not from you. Not from his friend.

I wonder how Jacob obtained the asari ship armor

Didn't he say something about "my old contacts" (or something like that).  Keep in mind, while the silaris armour is mentioned as being "asari-made" nowhere is it mentioned as being a proprietary technology of the asari military.

Once again, the writer for Tali confirmed that she did not steal the plans/design of the Normandy's stealthdrives

Perusing this thread again... and I have to wonder if when a human may have maybe, possibly, potentially done something less than angelic in the course of the games, if anyone decided in response to go through game 3 with low EMS and nuke Earth, just because one human did something baaaaaaaad.

Except it turns out in the end they didn't do it.

Oh well, technicalities. Time to nuke Earth anyways!

Then your justification for Tali not being allowed near the Normany's engine is...?

Same as Ash's.  Tali was an alien of dubious background.  She should never have had intimate access to top-secret Alliance military technology.

Now, here's the part that I'm pretty sure is confusing you, Tali never should have been allowed acces to the technology... but she was.  First by Udina+Shepard+Adams then by TIM+Shepard.  Tali can hardly be said to have stolen what was dropped in her lap.

The fault doesn't lie with Tali, it lies with Udina, TIM, Adams, and (most of all) Shepard.

It was a joke. It seemed like you were arguing that since she stole, she shouldn't have been on the ship.
