I hate tali.
In my Paragon playthrough. I had no interest in helping cover up her father illegal experiments. Yet, for the sake of "biowares" view of Moral Philosophy, I had to assist Tali........just so I can keep full Paragon playthrough
You make me sadface

If the STG was able to steal algorithms and plans on the Normandy Stealth Drives to make Stealth Dreadnoughts, its highly plausible the Quarians merely peaked and copied. Not taking blame from Tali, but her character doesn't seem the type to completely lie to Shepard's face.

Or the Migrant Fleet scanned the Normandy during ME2?
Shh, there's no place for reasonable inferences in this kind of discussion. You can't gleefully genocide entire races for the rumoured sins of the few, then.

I already had a playthrough where I killed them just so I could listen to the screams and music.

Tsk tsk!
There's a few renegade decisions I just can't do, even for RP purposes, or to see all available content.
Regardless, I find the 'Oh, you, a member of *insert race* are not perfect? You must die!' trend disturbing. And going out of ones way to find or *create* little flaws in order to justify such a stance.

If only the Salarians were in charge. They are definitely the number one in coolness with all their tech and their espionage apartment.JBPBRC wrote...
The Salarian STG gets it too, after scanning the SR-2 when it swings by to pick up Eve.
And then they one-up the SR-2 and install the thing on dreadnoughts. Stealth dreadnoughts, with thanix cannons and lasers (the latter of which bypass kinetic barriers entirely). Yeah.

theoretically she stole that info from the Sr1 not the SR2
because she needed to bring something back from her pilgrimage, and what better then the most advanced stealth technology of the time.
Plus, alot of people never even recruit Tali in ME2
glad to know she just threw away that geth data I found for her. lol way to trade up.

Considering I would have let her take the plans anyway I don't mind.
Yeah I don't see why having more Stealthy ships on the eve of a Reaper war is a bad thing. And Tali can have whatever the f*ck she wants

"Vents heat in a manner similar to the Normandy" is hardly incriminating evidence. The landmark innovative feature was the Tantelas (?) drive core, not some heat sinks.
The word prototype applied to the whole ship, everything about it.
Do you see any other ships like the normandy apart from the quarian knock off?
Edit for clarification; in capability

Salarian 1st Fleet. F*cking stealth dreadnoughts. Kinda reminds me of Creed and his stealth Titans <.<

No, some of us really enjoy seeing the world burn. I didn't really care about the Quarians, so they died to sate my Curiosity. Every other playthrough I've gotten peace.
I just wish there was a Paragon and Renegade alternative for choosing one side, I really wanted to shoot Tali off the Cliff.

Salarian 1st Fleet.
The Alliance had more than one Normandy class Frigate. The Salarians in particular had more than one Stealth Dreadnought in their 1st Fleet.

So, why don't you take me through a tour of the ship... oh wait, we never see it. How about some detailed schematics and a featurelist... oh wait, we get a couple sentences. Not a lot of evidence really. The Salarian fleet, not that has some evidence of espionage, but I don't see enough evidence.DirtySHISN0 wrote...

Also, there were other stealth ships being produced but the humans, and I'd imagine the Turians.

So its completely unfeasible for you to consider that it is possible that tali stole the specs?
For;
- from a tech craving culture
- scavenger life style
- pressure to provide for cultural lifestyle
- fearce loyalty to her people
- need to prove her loyalty
- spends all her time in engineering
- similarities with the ship she happened to be a guest on
Against;
- loyal to shepard (variable)
- do the quarians even have the facility to prototype designs given that the majority of their fleet is retrofitted and scavenged craft?
- do quarians have dry dock capability to build a ship? (seriously i don't know for these two questions)
Just saying it's possible, not definite.
