I dont know exactly what happen but to start I was playing on Firebase goddess as a N7 Fury on gold difficulty. My team and I were doing really well and were on wave 9 and we split 2 and 2 to handle the different sides of the map.

Anyway I ended up dieing probably 15 seconds into the wave because my side was the one swarmed with phantoms, we managed to take out all but 1 . I get revived and run down to the extraction area where as the teammate that was with me decided to head that way from the balcony near there. He dies up there so I used the heavy melee to quickly teleport up the ledge and used my AF detonate to kill the last remaining phantom. Almost at the exact same time after the detonation I revived the teammate then activated AF as soon as it was off CD and got into cover near the wall there.

Now this is where things got buggy....

Out of no where my game sound completely stops to the point where I cant hear anything and I start to see a little bit of screen tearing for 2-3 seconds. The screen tearing stopped but what I noticed from there on was my character moving probably 100% faster, both the character model and my ability to move across the map were like watching a cheetah on crack.

As awesome as it sounded I started to worry my teammates were going to think I was hacking the game. So I tried to limit my movement to just barely the walking pace which was probably about the speed of a full pace run w/ the 20% movement speed bonus of AF (which I did have).

After about a minute of that & trying to figure a way to stop the glitch I decided to just quit the game to avoid any issues that may come up. Right when I opened the menu to quit the game the screen decided to tear again too. Anyway I left w/ no reward because the game glitched out like that.

Please look into this issue and I apologize for not being able to catch what exactly caused this issue.

This has happened to several of my friends too. I am pretty sure this issue started appearing right after the Earth DLC release. There is simply no way to fix this, apart from restarting the whole game. It has never happened to me (I almost always host when I play with friends). It's extremely annoying to loose a teammate this way when playing gold/platinum.

This issue should have a high priority, as it makes the game virtually unplayable for the affected person until the whole game is restarted. I would also very much appreciate if this could be looked into by the devs.

Just to clarify, this does not only affect Furies, it affects all players regardless of their current kit.
