Castalyst: to gain you're atention, I do not have a physcial form as you Organics do.
Shepard: what...who are you then?
Catalyst: I am the Catalyst
Shepard: I thaught the Citadel was the Catalyst?
Catalyst: No...the Citadel as you call it, is my storage unit
Shepard: Then you are some sort of...
Catalyst: Artifical Inteligence yes.
Shepard: Can you tell me how to stop the Reapers?
Catalyst: maybe...maybe not

Catalyst: Very well, the device you attached to my Storage Unit, the Crucible, it changed my programming somehow.
Shepard: How did it change you?
Catalyst: It gave me new possibilities, new tasks if you will.
Shepard looks at the beams of light.
Catalyst: even though it has givin me new possiblities, I can not preform them with out a pyscial form.

Catalyst: you have to choose even though I am in a semi pysical state, I can not touch, nor interact with objects
