Don't know about Krysae,TC,Sabotage an HM,didn't use them much. But that two hours that I played pre-nerfed Typhoon today,after I unlocked it,were the best two hours I had since I started playng MP in the middle of March.

But maybe it will be now easier to say goodbye to the game,I won't be able to play it regardless.

I don't think it's that much of an effectiveness increase. I suppose that modded to hell you might get some good work out of it, but in all honesty, their DPSes are still pretty low. Mind you, 25% bonus goes a long way. Who knows? Might make them gold/plat viable, might not.

The nerf to the Typhoon is very disappointing, and frankly it makes no sense. If anything, removing the innate piercing would have been the way to go. Now however...it essentially takes away most incentive to even use the weapon. Several people already went over what kind of change this amounts to on damage output, but the Typhoon (an UR, which by all rights should be good) is now only slightly better than the Revenant, but infinitely more difficult to attain, you may as well just use the Particle Rifle now.

Worried a good light machine gun type assault rifle would be used by every N7 soldier, perhaps the devs never saw that coming. Perhaps it's killing 'boss' units too quickly, but would guess its effectiveness was well known before release. Feels pretty dismal.

Haven't looked it up but, wonder if there were any strange interaction effects between the base RoF multiplier and marksman / devastator mode?

I'm guessing no? They cut the destroyer ROF multiplier to 66% of what it was, and the typhoon's peak damage to 75% of what it was, so you'll be doing 0.66 x 0.75 = 0.495. So you'll be doing half as much damage.

Pretty good set. Typhoon is still a great gun, looking forward to some sweet sniping action with the shield gate change. Smash was cheap, needed a nerf. Still expect a Piranha nerf, but happy to enjoy its OPness for another week.

That was easily predictable. We were right by guessing that only such players,with everything locked,playing on silver rarely between crying on bsn,would ask for nerf. This is the majority of bsn,sadly...what a mess.

lolz , no idea friend , they must be playing something else , this in fact is a slow ROF weapons buff its got nothing to do with snipers , i think its going to make a big difference on my paladin and saber.But why am i saying this , they are going to be nerfed as well.

Almost everything rocks, except for the nerfs. What the hell, guys? First you start with Smash being terrible, then you make it useful, then you...nerf it again? What are you guys doing? Makes it hard to invest in a character when you keep nerfing stuff. Stop it, please, focus on making more items in the game actually playable. Like the Drellguard, or the locust.

And the Typhoon nerf? I'll admit that I only have this gun at level I, but that's to be expected for an N7 weapon. It was decent before, but nothing that deserved to have 1/4th of its damage cut out, Jesus christ.

Everything else, though; carnage and incinerate buffs are awesome, and Shield-Gating has finally met its match. (which makes sense, because if you get hit by a freight train, your shields aren't going to reflect it)

On Platinum, shield recharge delay for most enemies is 4 seconds. Sometimes 10% of a Widow\\Javellin\\Black Widow is enough to kill a Phantom.

I expected the cooldown increase on Smash sooner or later.  I think they over-buffed it before, and now I think they over-nerfed it.  7 seconds probably would have been better.

The Indra is going to be seriously awesome now.  I'd try it, but I'm having too much fun dicing up enemies with my Shadow's sword.  Maybe next week.

Shield gate piercing is fine, but isn't going to make much of a difference.  I haven't done the exact math, but I still don't think you'll be able to one-shot any shielded enemy on Gold with the Javelin, even if you get a headshot with all possible bonuses.

I really love the changes to Pull.  It's long overdue.  I always spec my AJA for Pull, but I felt like a lot of others didn't.  I might actually try 6 ranks in Pull now - I never used more than 3 or 4 before.

How about helping the rest of the snipers shine a bit compared to shotguns.

The Smash nerf did not affect the Lash/Smash combo in any way.  Lash's cooldown is the same as it was.  The only difference is that you'll have to wait an extra second or less (after cooldown bonuses) to do the combo again.

The Typhoon is an ultra rare, and with it being so heavy and leaving the user exposed, I firmly believed the gun was fine the way it is (espcially on Turian Soldiers and N7 Destroyers where they can truly take advantage of the gun like Infiltrators and Snipers). I guess I was wrong. While the change doesn't kill the gun, after trying it out on gold its less effective then what it once was.

Now the gun is barely better than the Revenant, but still weighs a ton.

The Falcon is right, the Paladin however received quite a few substantial buffs (damage, spare ammo).
