Any chance Singularity could be addressed in a similar manner? Pull is completely superior in every aspect except AOE, but only if you skip the Radius evolution, and the ability to hang around after casting, which is moot when it recharges so fast anyway. On top of that, it can give a blanket debuff to the target like Proximity Mine and grant the largest bonus to biotic combos seen so far. (Pull + Shockwave, both specced for detonations...anyone want to try that out?)

A step in the right direction.

Those balance changes are some of the best up to date!
- I'm a bit sad for the Typhoon but I'll survive! ;P
- It was expected to see "Devastator mode" take a drop... I have a feeling that we might see more of that later...
- The shield gate reduction is probably the best news as of now. The AR will surely benefit from this.
- The indra buff was great news, I'll make sure to try it out soon!
- Pull REALLY needed a boost and I'll push my luck saying that the AOI could even be bigger (3m) IMO. The problem with pull is that it doesn't affect shielded and barriered enemies AT ALL... There has got to be something Pull can do to at least "stagger" protected enemies... It would be much more useful...
- Maybe we will see a bit more of Carnage and Incinerate now with a bit of extra damage.
- I haven't played enough with the partical riffle to comment on it...
P.S. In a future balance change, I would REALLY appreciate if there could be a drastic weight reduction to the Saber Assault riffle. I have a feeling that Statis Bubble Asari Commandos would welcome this with most gratitude.
Overall, VERY satisfied! Keep it up!

200% cooldown = 2.46 second Smash after the nerf.
It's perfectly fine.
2.46 second is a long time to be useless on Gold.
As soon as you hit smash, immediately follow through with a heavy melee (which also passes through cover).
2.46 seconds is nothing.
The only way it would be an issue in any way, shape or form, is if you're using smash out in the open. Which is foolish to begin with even before the "nerf".
The e-peen is strong with this one.
And your..whatever you said, does not refute what I said.
Good game.

You forgot the Falcon and Paladin.
I admit I forgot the Falcon. I contest the Paladin. It lost a round and gained weight (much of which was later reduced in further patches), but gained a ton of damage in exchange. If anything, I would say the Paladin had a net gain overall. Similar to the Javelin, which gained some small buffs in compensation for some hefty nerfs . . . enough to change its role, but not enough to be considered a significant nerf in a game changing way. It was always a one-shot in the Widow class; before it was less damage with more ammo, now its more damage with less ammo (and heavier). Falcon's minor damage buff can't compare, and true enough, it was a serious nerf.

I'm guessing no? They cut the destroyer ROF multiplier to 66% of what it was, and the typhoon's peak damage to 75% of what it was, so you'll be doing 0.66 x 0.75 = 0.495. So you'll be doing half as much damage.
Thats extremely misleading math. They cut the ROF multiplier BONUS to 66%, but that ROF multiplier was only 15% of the standard (100%). So they cut it to 95.6% of the previous ROF on the Destroyer. Thus, the Destroyer Typhoon user it dealing .956 x 0.75 = 0.71 of its previous damage. Huge nerf, true, but not less than half.

Haha, I still haven't got the Typhoon and it was nerfed twice!
Yep, same boat, we'll never know what all the fuss was about.

They got an ultra-rare weapon nerfed though so in a way they won considering they got a weapon meant for platinum nerfed so it can't handle platinum properly anymore .....VDubb wrote...
Sweet, Piranha remained untouch. Cry nerfers and let us bathe in your tears.
Also smash nerfed? Well Phoenix characters are now useless. Way to go .....

I doubt the Missile Launcher will even get a good buff, it'll probably be something like increase it's damage and force by 50 points.

Sadly making underused and underpowered classes better seems to be pretty low on the agenda.

MAKES NO SENSE, all these modifications of weapons and powers. This is not balance the game, why are ignoring an important factor. FUN. Good weapons are being spoiled while weapons that really need improvement are ignored.
All of you should sit at the computer and balance ALL WEAPONS, improving those that are obsolete and not just ruining the good weapons and characters in the game.

Too bad one of the weakest classes in the game (Phoenix adept) got a major nerf. There were really few of them running around and now there will be fewer still.
Really? I saw Phoenix Adepts constantly. Both Phoenixes would should up really, really frequently in my Gold AND Platinum matches. Maybe 1 in 20? Keeping in mind at least 10 of those 20 were Demolishers, Salarian Engineers and Geth Infiltrators.

The incinerate buff was pretty cool and is juuusssst enough to help engineers/paladins get fire explosions on gold+.
The buffs to the
Typhoon nerf was unnecessary and excessive.
The nerf to dev. mode makes absolutely no difference whatsoever, destroyers play exactly the same and aren't hurt by it at all.
The partial nerf to shield gate, while a step in the right direction, doesn't make much of a difference.
And finally, the smash nerf just makes me go WTF. (P.S. I've tested pheonix's post nerf, and the extra second REALLY hurts them. They used to be able to spam smash as soon as the animation was over, now they have to wait about a half second after the animation, which is LETHAL on gold+ since they need the stagger that smash causes to survive. )

Yay for incinerate. The FQE shall rise.
Always happy to see the FQE improved in some way. She's always been a lot of fun for me, and I've a feeling she'll become quite powerful, but by inches rather than miles. This is the second increase to Incinerate's damage; that I recall, anyways. Once the bug with chilled targets not taking increased Incinerate damage (with the proper evolution, of course) is fixed I think she'll be in a very good place, indeed.

What do you think they're doing?
I see buffs to pull and parctile riffle. Stop whining.

There is currently little reason to choose any sniper rifle (especially the 1 shot models) over other types of weapons due to shieldgating penalties.
