Ok, maybe this is just a stupid question but... You arrive on Dantooine, Jedi academy, Jedi training, etc, etc, etc, then you can build your own lightsaber. Perfect! But what if my character uses 2 or a double-lightsaber?
After getting the crystals in the cave, how am I supposed to build a two-sides saber or another one?
Thank you!

You only ever build one lightsaber and that is always a regular saber. However, you can get others as loot (usually from Dark Jedi). These include double-bladers as well as short lightsabers (to be used in the off-hand). If you really want to use a double-blader from the get go, you can nick Bastila's.

There aren't any Dark Jedi on Dantooine, but there are on all of the other main quest planets.

I suppose all the Sith`s lightsabers are red... Is there a way to change their color? My dream is a purple one, but I think I could accept also whatever not-red :-p

Didn't you get various color crystals from that cavern? Color and power crystals can be found as loot.

You can change the color crystal and add power crystals in a workbench (there is one in the Ebon Hawk).

Also, if your copy of Kotor includes the Yavin station, I suggest you check that periodically (the merchant updates his inventory from time to time). It has some of the best merchandise in the game.

So I just need to manually change the crystal? That's wonderful, thanks :-)
What is Yavin station? And how can I check if I have it?

Yes. Don't forget to keep all your party weapons and armor upgraded.

Yavin station is additional content that was automatically included in some PC versions It was DLC for the Xbox version. It will show up as a destination blob in the galaxy map when you leave Dantooine. It has a merchant, a funny litlle quest line, and some of the best items in the game - including the best two crystals: Heart of the Guardian and Mantle of the Force.

So, the only thing to see if I have this Yavin Station, is to wait and see if it is shown in the map?

Don't worry: I like upgrading, so I tend to do that even too often ^_^'

:D I don't have to worry. I've completed Kotor several times over. :wizard:

Well, that wasn't exactly what I meant ^_^' however, back on the topic, I've upgraded both lighsabers in the party and we get some pleasant effect!
However, I'm still a bit confused about other kind of upgrade.
ie: for Carth Blaster, I have 3 or 4 (can't remember) sloth where I can put pieces to upgrade the weapon. All the sloth are full. If I click on (ie) the trigger, the slot becomes transparent, if I click on it again, a trigger appear. The problem is the number in the upper part of the screen. If I can see the trigger, it says "1", if I see the the transparent slot, it says "2". I can't understand what that mean.
Can you tell me where I can find a good explanation of the upgrading screen?
Thanks :-)

Whenever you use the workbench, all significant slots should be highlighted.

If not, you either have no mods for that particular slot, or no slots for that armor.

And to emphasize my earlier post: you DO need to upgrade your items, you'll get a zillion of Sith upon you later.

Pick an item class, say blasters. Pick an item (only items that have slots are selectable), say Carth's blaster. You should now have all the significant slots highlighted. Of course, you need appropriate mods for those slots in your inventory.

As a side note: I am surprised you got out of Taris without mods.

Ok, I'll try again. My upgradable items are ALL UPDATED! Since as soon as I been able to find the upgrading-pieces. The point is: I can't understand why, if I select a piece, in the upper part of the panel I can see a "1", why if I deselect the piece, I see a "2". I was wondering if maybe there are 2 kind of available pieces that can be put there for upgrading the weapon.

Carth's blaster, as I've pointed out above, should have been upgradable the first thing you got him on Taris.

If not, there is something seriously wrong with your game. Technically, you can do without mods, but you'll be in big trouble when you get attacked by the Sith in numbers.

Ok, English is not my mother language, but I thought I was at least able to make people understand me. :-(
Carth's blaster HAS BEEN UPGRADED ON TARIS. 3 times. Each time I was able to add a piece. Full stop.

New topic. Why, if I click on the ie, trigger, in the upper part of the upgrading-window, a number appears and it changes its value, accordingly to if I have the trigger (trigger or another piece) selected or not?

I would like to underline that blaster (like my prototype vibroblade and Missioin's vibroblade and 2 or 3 armors and the Zaalbar's crossbow and 2 lightsabers) has ALREADY been upgraded.

Neither it is mine.

Side note: Never let Zaalbar use ranged weapons, he is a melee monster.
