With the Mac version of Dragon Age: Origins coming out tomorrow, will Mac users be able to obtain a .dmg version of the Toolset? I currently have the PC game and Toolset on my Windows 7 side (bootcamp) but I prefer being on Snow Leopard.

I would imagine it would depend on how the 2 games differ - if the files are completely different, it may not be feasable. Also, the toolset uses SQL server and Visual C++ - both Microsoft products, and both are required by the toolset, and Microsoft doesn't like to share with Mac
. So maybe, but if so, it wont be any time soon.

As far as the games themselves are concerned, from what I understand .dmg and .exe is how program is ran with the operating system (OS), the rest is dependent on the program. Though since you did mention the SQL server and Visual C++ yeah I suppose that does make it a bit difficult. Completely forgot about that to be honest. I do know that there are Mac alternatives to SQL servers like "Oracle SQL Developer". Xcode I understand can work like Visual C++ but lacks Microsoft AFI (??) so that may be an issue. But yeah again I forgot about those two main components ><

I read when Bioware announced the release of a Mac version that they do not plan to release the toolset for it.
