Check out Two Worlds II - the hair is moving there too (long hair) and the one of the best physics I've ever seen on a character, was the cape on the armor waving in the wind. This game got great physics and the look of the char while walking was also really good.
That game is sexist .
No females =sexist..

How can it be sexist? It's all about the players sister. Therefore The Witcher is a sexist game too!? Oh, ok.... the witcher is sexist, ...a little bit..PinkDiamondstl wrote...

Almost forgot Two Worlds II! The hair in that game was managed great along with clothing. I made a bad-ass looking mage who had this awesome long flowing robe and cape with long flowing white hair and a stubble. The game also allowed you adjust your character's height and make them small or big and you also could choose how big their chest was.
Multiplayer actually allowed you to create a male or female character with several different races.
The only thing TW2's CC lacked was proper beards!
Oh and Two Worlds 2 also had an enviroment which moved with the wind and as the character moved through grass, plants and bushes.

Maybe it's just me but;
- Longer hair (that doesn't look like varnished wood).
- Scars that aren't pretty little things that perhaps cut an eyebrow or lip. I'm talking ones that have gouged the skin in some way.
- Tie in with the whole scars thing; complexions that allow for more than just smooth or wrinkled.
- More tattoo's, I'm a massive fan of them.

As for customization, as we'll be having coived protagonist, I want to see sound filter slider, so you can adjust only voice you have, making it lowe-higher etc. That's the simpliest addition, already made in various games and will at least partly compensate voice of new protagonist, forced upon players.
Running around like Bane sounds pretty cool.

Dragon's Dogma also had this. It also allowed you increase the butt size of your character.
I say both features should make it into Dragon Age 3.

I've just began playing Alice Madness Returns and watching her amazingly rendered hair move and react is really something. Not that it's a make or break for me, but longer hair would be nice. I use a mod for ME3 giving my femShep Ashley's/Diana's hairstyle and for some reason, enjoy the game more for it, silly definitely.

There should be a whole body tattoos - especially on Dalish Elves. And of course armors to accomodate them (leather/cloth obviously for the elves)
And the scars too - like on tights, arms, belly, etc....
And look like i need to try out that Dragon Dogma, haven't played it yet.

I do think Dragon's Dogma did a great job with variety in body shape - weight, height, bust size, posture, etc.
Something like that would be neat if Bioware could pull it off.

Some of that is going to be limited by the nature of the game. When you have characters interacting with the pc in a person way height variation isn't really too feasible. I believe even in the sims you can't change height because the animations have to stay relative to the models for them to look right. The same goes for body types, games like Saints Row and from what I've seen of it I presume Dragon's Dogma works becasue the character models don't really interact with each other. A somewhat limited weight slider like the one in Skyrim might work because there is nothing too severe either way though.

Actually characters do interact with each other during some cut-scenes. There's cut-scenes when characters hug the main character (romance scenes) and then look up/down at him/her depending on their height. Capcom wrote a blog on this:

Cut-scenes were done pretty well in Dragon's Dogma. Sadly there were only a few of them and I would loved for there to have been more considering how well some of them were done.
