I might be blind for not finding the FAQ or something, but here goes.

So I just bought some points, trying to get the wardens DLC package. But I can't seem to find it?
My credit card has been charged, but where is the content? Whenever I click a link that I think might be correct it just takes me back to the site where I bought my points..

Any suggestions? :o

When you buy points, I think your supposed to go in-game. And buy it from the DLC.

If you have the points, you should be able to download it straight away.

1. Start Dragon Age

2. Log in with the account that has Bioware points and you want the DLC to be tied to

3. Select the downloadable content from the main menu

4. You should now have a list of DLC you can purchase via Bioware points.

If nothing is listed under the purchase tab, your DAupdater.service may not be running, check one of the stickies on how to diagnose it.

Thanks for the comments guys.

My problem now is that I don't have the points I bought. I completed the creditcard transaction, bought points for 7$ (or euros specifically) since apparently that's what the content cost.

According to the bioware checkout website I have 560 points, but in-game it says my points balance is --. I also have no available DLC in-game. Am I missing something very obvious?

edit: "If nothing is listed under the purchase tab, your DAupdater.service may not be running"  Is that my problem?

If your balance is showing --, it means you havent logged in.

Bottom left corner of the main menu, there should be a "logged out" button. Press it and log in, then go back to the download screen.

Thanks Lynx, my points are now showing in-game so I'm one step closer at least :)

But I've got nothing under 'downloadable content', nothing under 'installed content' and nothing in progress. While I was checking this i got a message saying "a server error occurred while trying to access your online profile storage".

Is this related?

It is possible the Bioware servers are down, but I dont think this is the case as I logged in to check and it showed the content there for me under installed as I have already purchased the DLC's.

Not sure mate, perhaps once you log in and are at the available content to download page, wait a few minutes. I know some people have to wait a few minutes for the page to refresh / update.

The other possibility is that your firewall or router is blocking it.

Disable your firewall and try again and if it still happens then it can only be your router and you will have to edit your routers permissions to allow the game to access the net. How you do this is based on what router you have.

if you have nothing under downloads in game and all the tabs there and is loged in.

Then you dont have your dragon age updater on. I used to have the same problem but when i turn on the DAO updater it work and all my dlc started downloading right away.

How to turn it on: go to start on desktop then search services click enter and it should pop up. Then you just press D until you see dragon age. Then click start services. and there you go now you can start your game and play your dlc (ps might be good to start the game as an admin also i always do that any way.)

And about the a server error occurred while trying to access your online profile storage. dont worry about that i get that messege all the time and nowthing chances for me.

What you gotta do is to fix that:
  • Use the shortcut keys: Windows + R
  • It will pop up the ''Run'' programme (It is also available in ''Start'')
  • Type in: services.mcs
  • It will open up a window, find the Dragon Age: Origins. It should be alphabetic order directly.
  • Double Left-Click it and it will open up another window.
  • In ''Starting-Type'' (I have it in dutch, meaning not sure how its called there) In case your dutch: Opstarttype
  • Make it to Regular, (Handmatig in dutch)
  • Then in the same tab and window go to ''Status of Service''
  • It will say (If I think this is your problem) Stopped.
  • Click on ''Run'' / ''Start'' (In dutch: Starten)
  • If it says '' Running '' (In dutch: Gestart)
  • Then click on ''Ok''
  • Go to your game, make sure you are logged in. If you are, go to the DLC, and it should be right there.
If thats not the problem, I'm not sure. Any questions, just holler.

Ahh, then I'm sorry. I dont know about the XBox. I only use PC for gaming. I personally hate Playstations, or XBox's or any other consoles like that.
