So, for some reason that I can't quite figure out, I cannot go through the doors to get to the battlements. I am not currently in combat or anything, have tried reloading and leaving and returning to Amaranthine - but the doors still won't let me up.
They highlight as clickable, and there's even a small 'hiccup' like it's starting to load, then stops. Anyone else ever have this problem? I looked all over and couldn't find anything on it.

Have you tried kicking it repeatedly? Either the doors with the characters or your PC.
Jokes aside, that is weird. Have you tried starting a quest that normally allows or requires your party to access the battlements? E.g., Out of Control, Smuggler's Run, or Till Death Do Us Part? Do you have any texture or game mods installed?
