huh. I have seen people do well without throw though, they just use Stasis on everything.

Also, people trash talking a GI with a GPS. This happens a lot more than it should.

I can tell you the scariest thing I ever heard on the mic. It was "I'm 12" followed by "I love Duke Nukem Forever!" which was shortly followed by "My parents don't care I can do whatever I want."

The few times I still actually play with randoms (doesn't happen much anymore, I usually just play with my friends) I hear things like:

"Aww! I charged that [insert enemy type here] after I was downed!"

"Why isn't Pull detonating my Reeve!?"

"I'm not spec'd into Stasis."

"OMG WTF DOWNED ME!!!!???" (While standing in the middle of Ravager acid)

And, the one I laughed at the most:

"Dude, Krogans aren't viable on Gold."

Ok...had to share this one...reading this thread I join a platinum random...

No mics to start but I notice the leader has no gear on...so I turn on my mic to mention it...he then turns his on.

As the game is loading...
"yeah...this is my first platinum...I just downloaded the update" followed by him trying to tell me where to put my pylon...and then he had a bad connection and everyone was glitching out everywhere and he's the last one standing and tries to solo the wave (obviously lasted about 1 minute)

only positive...the game let me keep my equipment

Some guy on a gold match who told me to get out of 'his spot' and to 'don't be trolling' because I happened to have stumbled into his area of the map. Apparently my actions resulted in losing the flow of the whole game. Uh huh.  Lucky for him, he's now a running joke in my house, ie. telling the cat to 'don't be trolling me' when it gets in my seat etc..

Other than that, I generally leave if I can hear a mic in the lobby.  Can't stand people chattering or whining away incessantly about nothing or shouting 'urgh!! no way did that husk kill me I was a millions billions miles away'.  Hearing russians, french and germans swearing can be fun though and it's nice getting a 'spasiba' when reviving someone.

the most dreaded thing i have heard over a mic a couple of times... a childs voice. What kind of a parent lets a 5-11 year old play a game like this without supervision, you would not believe the racial slurs and **** they spout over the mic when they are not supervised.
