finally (well if it ain't broke don't fix it) given in and bought a shiny new bells & whistles computer, gone over to Windows 7 from XP before the awful looking 8 takes over.

So how do I import my DA2 saves and characters into the newly installed DA2?
is it dead simple, or is there deviousness involved?
Changed and built computers a few times, but never needed to import loved ones before.

thinking of calling it Hawke as he's so reassuring, which will make the thing will go all VengeanceAnders won't it!

ok then I guess everything's just transferable by dragging over the network.

I've just got Windows 7 (mine's a hard copy of the game); keeps crashing, just had a look at the Nvidia PhysX problem  and will try setting it to CPU as suggested.

My main problem is it freezes and or breaks up with thousands of little white windows in it.  It's a new graphics card, Win 7 64bit, all bells and whistles new compter.

Be aware that "newness" is totally, completely meaningless.  Every year, AMD, Intel, and nVIDIA recycle the oldest, slowest, and cheapest of their video offerings with new names, because some people WANT the have crap for video, just as long as it's "new", cheap crap, like the Geforce G 210, 310, 410, 610, etc.
