This may be a dumb question but I was wondering how you DL the CEP 2.3 and put it to your toolset. I have it for NWN Multiplay. But I'm not sure if it's in my toolset. I have a few CEP 22mods in there and a CEP 23 starter, but when I toy with the toolset it does'nt seem to have any CEP things in it.

In order to add the CEP to a Mod that does not have it, you must add the hak/s in order, via the mod properties tab. If you only want to look at all the CEP has to offer load up the CEP starter mod, the CEP haks have been added in.

this sounds like the classic misinformation about CEP.

Community Expansion Pack is not an expansion in the classic sense. Think of it as an custom content compilation. CEP doesn't changes modules and game at all. CEP simply adds custom content to be used if you decide to make a module that will use it. But it will not change already existing modules retroactively - even if you add the haks via toolset the module won't change.

This is contrary to NWN Enhanced, Community Patch and to some degree Project Q - these "mods" will change already existing modules, CP just by installing, other two only after you add the haks into your module.

Start the Toolset, open the CEP starter mod. Select the Creatures Tab. Select the Custom tab.

Open a category, say, 'Aberrations'. Is there anything there?

(1) If the CEP haks are in your "hak" folder, then you have CEP.
(2) In order for any module to use the CEP haks they must be added in the Custom Content section of Module Properties.
