Right personally I'm a little iffy about posting this as I know I will sound like some whiney prat but I'm being pressurised into it by a friend. In essence I'm seeking clarification of the source of these errors as (and forgive me if this sounds pathetic) they seem to only occur when someone is doing well...
Whilst I hate to phrase it like that I've googled it and most people seem to say they have it on final wave of silver, gold, etc and this fits fairly eerily into what I've had past couple of days. Aka I have had this error 4 times over the past few days, Every time I have been a. the highest scoring player in the game and b. about a minute into wave 10. First time I laughed, second time he laughed, I cried, third time both of us just sat there with a bemused look on our faces and fourth he suggested I create this post.
Please don't just flame me for this. I would appreciate it if someone could just give me a sensible answer so we can stop coming up with conspiracy theories.

yeah, the connection has been crap for the past couple of days... not sure what's going on but I'm getting the usual 'check your network settings' BS from EA.

I just got the same myself. I was watching someone do the instant respawn glitch on FBW so I could get their name to report, and BOOM! Connection lost.
Its the first time that has happened to me in aaaaaaaaaaages, so I was rather surprised!

Well, lucky me, this phrase stopped appearing around Wave 10 on Gold, for me (>.<)
But last few days (more like weeks, now) I am not able to use a shop properly. Every time I buy a pack, the game gets stuck on 'communicating' and kicks me out of MP after two minutes or so. It's annoying, because I practically can't shop between the missions, I have to quit the lobby, buy something, get kicked, log back in and receive the pack...
Oh well... :/

Oddly enough I have exactly that issue as well. After losing the money for a premium specter pack yesterday I've spent the day quitting to lobby and then buying.

More network events during more intense levels, and more intense waves within the levels. Weaknesses in network will show their ugly heads. Or behinds, depends.

Well, that was happening, before, too. Now they seem to repair it to the point where I at least don't lose the money, but receive the pack once I log back into multiplayer. ...usually

Same for me.
I get connection issues a lot with this game.
But, the past 2 days have been ridiculous. It takes me several minutes to find a match, and when I do I usually get disconnected mid-game. Hardly been able to play.
I been trying to play all day today, and I finally got enough games in to buy a Premium Spectre Pack. :/

Glad to see it's not just me. I swear I have more connection issues with this game than any in recent memory. And the horrible "Connecting to server" delay which you have to wait for when the game starts is the worst, too. I'm moving this weekend - maybe I'll try again in like a week.

Well, I reckon this game has issues with different types of NAT. For example, I am able to connect to games, my friend from his home can find another matches, but we simply are not able to play together - our computers just don't find each other. We have to meet in one place (doesn't matter which) to be able to play together. >.<

I'm both happy and sad to see it's not "just me". I regularly play silver matches, and the past two days I have been disconnected in the 9th or 10th round three times. Very frustrating. While Bronze is slow money, at least it's 15k more than a disconnect.
