This happens more often than I'd like to say. Not always on extraction, sometimes wave 1 or 5. But to lose the entire connection, and not gain any progress or credits for what you've done...extremely frustrating. Especially on gold. Is this something that is being looked into, or just general server instability?
And as for downtime, I'd like to humbly suggest that unless it's 100% unforseen, to give people a 30 minute window or something to finish games. Maybe don't let new games be created during that window? We've lost connection because of random downtimes in the middle or near the end of matches too. It makes me a super sad panda.

Sadly, I confirm this problem. It's pretty hard for me to complete gold challenge and it happend a few times during extraction. It's extremely annoying not only beacuse you can't finish the mission, but also you lose weapon and armor upgrades (for nothing) and earn no credits.
Hopefully, looking forward to see this sorted out.

I've checked around the forums, and it seems that around the time the commendation packs were supposed to be released, both Xbox AND PS3 seemed to start having huge server trouble. Not sure about PC, but it has gone on since around 5 PM PST Tuesday and continued through a bit until today.

I get the same issue everytime I even attempt Mulitplayer, right at the last 10 seconds of any map on any setting I get dropped from the game.

They really need to recode it so that match progress saves after every wave. Or simply fix whatever is causing dropped connections, but it's probably easier to do the former. ;P At least then we wouldn't be wasting 10-30+ minutes of our lives with no credits or xp to show for it.
It's often a problem on PC as well, although it only happens to me now if I play on wifi, it seems alright on a wired network connection.
