Also, if you could possibly upload a few screenshots somewhere of your settings for Aliena, I'd be delighted. I can't do anything with the females. Somehow they all wind up looking somewhat like Morrigan or Flemel. She looks incredible, but an 8/10 in comparison to BabyFace.



Tehlu also looks very, very awesome. The combination of the tattoos and complexion make him look old, wise, and completely untrustworthy. I think it's that smirk. A 10/10.



Kvothe doesn't look very mage-like to me - but that might just be my preconceptions of mages getting in the way. I like him, though, but his face looks more like it belongs to the Couslanders. 7/10.



Zachary I can't really comment on. Mainly because something seems... off, but I can't put my finger on it. 5/10.

thanks for the ratings. About Zachary he was my first, and I was trying to make him look like zachary quinto  From Heroes. I'm not sure how I would go about doing screens for the settings for Aliena I just started with her bald all the way through and added hair at the end.

Tehlu is awesome. He has the kind of look that I'd love to see on an NPC or companion in-game - memorable, charming, and with a hint of personality (love the smirk) all at once. Great job. The others aren't as eye-catching, I'm afraid.

1) Reminds me of Adam Carolla. The nose is what turns me off.

2) Hes pretty cool looking, though I would try to solve some of the weirdness going on with the cheekbones.

3) Like most others. He is my favorite , has a lot of character to him.

5) I think you have a solid base here and she could be really good if you tweaked the eyes or brow a bit. I could see spacing the eyes out a bit.

3 is my favorite . But I could see 2 and 5 turning out very cool if you edited them a tiny bit.

1. He seems a little to young for my taste. Maybe make him look a bit older. Also a tad plain. 6/10



2. This guy looks badass. He looks like he would be a warrior more than a mage. So an Arcane Warrior he should be. 8/10



3. Future keeper of the dalish. XD He looks fantastic, but i dont like playing as old people. 8/10

I'm a contributor to that thread as well, & for my way of doin it, I used the assistance of a created Album that I started especially for havin a place to Upload Images for thread use.

As for the original topic:

1: 8/10 The nose is a snotrag to do well, but unfortunately can make or break a face. (I feel your pain in this regard, i've needed Forumite aid to get some of my character's noses right.)

2: 10/10 Agree with other posters about this guy lookin like a Warrior so I too would recommend AW. Also looks strong & stalwart!

3: 10/10 Looks like a wise yet caring elder, though beware, for the caring part may turn out to be a ruse! Sweet work!

4: 10/10 Hey... This guy looks kinda familiar... Isn't this guy a contest entry for the Ugliest Character Contest? (One of the greatest threads on this board!) If so, my 2 entries, Gaublin & Korgan, say 'Hi!'.

5: 9.5/10 I dunno if those thin Eyebrows are really the optimum compliment to the rest of the face. Suggest one of the thick Eyebrows. Otherwise sweet work! She looks beautiful, & her face suggests to me a wise, logical, calm natural leader!  (Bet she would look REAL good at the part of a Spirit Healer. Actually, now that I think of it, she could play the part of a Wynne that's younger & hotter! ) Lastly, i'm jealous at your success at managing a Human Female Mage. I tried my luck at one, but couldn't get satisfied at her & scrapped her. (Especially, the mouth wouldn't quit lookin partially chimplike from the side. Is that normal, or have I been lookin at too many Elves & Dwarves?)

I give the win to Aliena. I think gals are harder to make look good than guys. (Shamelessly biased opinion.)
