Hawke in DA3

How sweet would it be for Hawke to be a party member? Using the game save importer, they could read how they looked, their class and what responses were most made (sarcastic, mean, nice etc.) and base his/her dialogue on that.
It'd be cool to see the continuation of Hawke's story, as I felt the main drawback of DA2 was that it was more about what happens in Kirkwall and Jawke just happening to be their at teh right moments rather than Hawke's journey that he forges himself.
I know this would require a LOT of work, but I think it could be done really well and add an exciting element to those who imported from DA2.

Doesn't that mean the developers would further develop Hawke outside of our control if the Champion became a party member? And what about Hawke's love interest?

What individual character development did we get in DA2 really though? Love interest, Friendships/Rivalries and which side we chose at the end. Everything else was pretty much railroaded.

Thank you, for understanding. I'm pretty sure what Bioware is gonna do is just mention Hawke in DA3 not even SHOW your hawke just have a few people mention his/her name andNizaris1 wrote...
If Hawke to become a companion in DA3, i want Hero of Ferelden too...

Maybe we'll see Hawke in the end, taking a breathe in some rubble down in the Deep Roads, alone and abandoned? Sounds like fun!

And the little kid from the start of Dragon Age: Origins who lost his mother running away from the darkspawn lets you choose between destroying all dawkspawn, but all non-magic users get killed to. Controlling all the darkspawn and using them to prevent wars, or merge darkspawn, mages and templars together into a new perfect species.
Oh, the problem with adding the HoF as a party member is that the in Origins there weren't any dialogue archtypes like charming or sarcastic and they would have to port the appearance through another game. Plus, adding a voice to a voiceless character would end up causing a lot of hate from fans IMO. "This isn't my Warden!!"

Actually, they could just have a character creation screen to fix the import problem. I'm less sure about the voice.Oh, the problem with adding the HoF as a party member is that the in Origins there weren't any dialogue archtypes like charming or sarcastic and they would have to port the appearance through another game. Oh dear god you probably just predicted the Dragon age future. And yeah i get your point with the HoF as a party member, but in Dragon Age origins you get the chance to select a voice ( violent, experinced, wise etc ) but hey, i guess Bioware will find a way to screw it up so i guess HoF should stay out of the picture for now.PrinceMitch wrote...

Well, there was a whole lot of red in DA2's ending, and Hawke did mysteriously disappear, so that would make sense.
But of course, in the Dragon Age universe, you put 2&2 together and get "why would you think that?"

Archdemon: There is no escape. Don't make me destroy you.
[pauses]
Archdemon: You do not yet realize your importance. You have only begun to discover your power. Join me, and I will complete your training. With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to Thedas.
OGB: I'll never join you!
Archdemon: If you only knew the power of the Old God. Morrigan never told you what happened to your father.
OGB: She told me enough! She told me she made Dark Ritual with a Warden!
Archdemon: No. I am your father.
OGB: Nooooo!!!!!!. Nooooooo!!!!!!. That's not true. That's impossible!
Archdemon: Search your feelings, you know it to be true!
OGB: [anguished] Noooooo!!!!!! Noooooo!!!!!!
OGB will be a very confused child.......

I kinda wanted to see the place where magic ruled all. What's it called tenvor? I can't spell it but they mention it in DA2 and I wanted see other land where everything is very fancy. I think the DA3 will be about Orgins and the events that happended in DA2

In regards to the Warden/OGB, not companion (Bioware would choose the absolute worst voice, like in DA2) so I would rather not hear them at all.
@JasonRocker I think you mean "Tevinter" and the "Land where everything is very fancy" would be "Orlais". ^^

I actually had the same thought some days ago...Wouldn't it be artistic beyond our wildest
And in the epilogue we see how the first giant creatures that look for some reason like cuttlefish emerge from Thedas to pacify the universe! Holy Maker preserve us and send us The Shepard to...make things worse? Ah whatever...at least the "spacemagic" would make sense then
On topic: I could even imagine Hawke as a companion or at least NPC in DA3, at least if importing is possible...default Hawkes are beyond annyoing. Wasn't the end about Hawke/Warden be the important factors in the coming conflict? Why not having at least our Hawke, easier ti build into the game than the Warden, as there are not so many different Hawkes anyway...

How sweet? Let me see. He/she is a diplomatic goody-goody character or humorous goody-goody character or aggressive goody-goody character. He/she is too generic and too predictable. Not to mention useless and pathethic he can't even protect his/her own family.PrinceMitch wrote...

Oh I have enough of his/her dialogue already. He/she auto-dialogues too much in DA 2.PrinceMitch wrote...

That because DA 2 is not about Hawke. It's about Cassandra and Varric wanting to find out the truth behind mage-templar war. Hawke was plotted to cover the real culprit, Anders. He/she has no importance whatsoever. The qunari invasion? Yeah Hawke become the champion but that's about it. He's still useless I wonder why people even bother to "exaggerate" Hawke's legend.PrinceMitch wrote...

It could be done well if they can focus on one single main story like the blight instead of trying to tell too many short episodes like the expedition, the qunari's conflict and the mage's crisis - which end up as disjointed stories.PrinceMitch wrote...

DA 3 will be better off without Hawke. Hawke's story shipped 2 million copies for DA franchise. He has done his part. Let the new protagonist in DA 3 play his/her role in Thedas. This time let this new protagonist be created or developed by the player themselves.
