the past two days i've noticed that if i buy 3 PSP's, i'll get maybe one of the new Earth DLC gear mods...i was lucky enough to get the Typhoon the day the DLC came out...but i still have yet to get the cerberus harrier or the pulse rifle...i keep getting other ultra rare items and almost have a black widow X and a javelin X at this rate. not sure if the system is flawed or i just have bad luck...but i feel like it makes more sense to increase the chances of getting the gear you DON'T have as opposed to maxing out the gear you already have. Once you have one or two items left to max out...then maybe i could understand getting 2 level IV ammo's out of a PSP for a few purchases. but its getting tougher and tougher it seems.

This low drop rate has discouraged me from playing. I enjoy playing this game, but it feels like I'm constantly wasting credits on crappy consumables. A lot of the fun for me was maxing out my manifest, but it feels like I've hit a brick wall. I've barely played at all for the past 2/3 weeks.

I guess it would help if the game changed, but it's been the same for 5 months now. Well, apart from them nerfing weapons and characters, that is.

You know what would make PSPs worthwhile and stop any frustration instantly?

PSP cannot give 2x Level 4 consumables. So if you maxed everything like freemyheart it has to either drop a charactercard of one character he is leveling atm or the gear he is missing.

I would personally be okay with that, but I would still be pissed that Bioware hadn't fixed the drop rates for the Earth DLC gears because it is decisions like that that are killing multiplayer for others -- thus limiting the pool of players that I can play with.

I'm missing only 16 uncommon gear mods, and 1 rare, I'm not sure which ones are Earth mods, but hopefully when I get those maxed, I'll finally get my Typhoon, fingers crossed.

I wish I had a good team, but I don't know a single person in ME3 MP. I'm not the guy who can solo plat for a bad team, but I can finish a wave alone if I have to (without rockets) and I'm somewhere between mediocre and good player.

Anyway, I really hope they make PSPs unable to drop 2x Lvl4 Stuff, because this is what causes the frustration. If you get things you don't need e.g. Scorpion Upgrade then it's not awesome, but not as frustrating as stuff that is entirely useless (2x cryo ammo e.g.).

You're doing very well on the Earth DLC "Uncommon" Gears. You only need one more drop. (The Earth DLC Gears are the last four Uncommons)

Same with Earth DLC "Rare" Gears. Like me, you only need one more drop. (The Earth DLC Gears are the last seven Rares.)

Easily spent a million credits yesterday -- zip, zilch, zero.

My consumables are bordering on hilarious.
