Wait for patch, but who cares they're pointless achievements. If they gave a cool item or something upon completion like TF2 or WoW does then I might say otherwise but pff I couldn't care less about my gamer score.

I didnt get the Rock and a Hard Place achievement for freeing Shale across 2 characters, and didnt get the achievement for getting my Rogue to lvl 20

There are 33 achievements that will only ever show on the social site......they are PC achievements. DAO has a total of 87 achievements(check my profile) but XBL only supports 54 of them.....those 54 at the moment amount to 1100 gamerscore.



The achievements you mention will never appear anywhere except on the social site.

Anyone know how to link my PC achievements to MY Xbox gamertag I've tried everything it I can't make it work. I don't want to enter my codes for the DLC until I do in case it locks me out somehow. I've been to the EA site a dozen times and when I try to enter my gamertag under enter persona it says system error please try again later.

apparently since these arent technically "games for windows live" they dont add the achievements for pc with the achievements for the 360. i've noticed no matter how many bioware pc achievements i get they dont add to the 360s gamerscore or achievement listing.
hopefully im right in assuming that this is the reason they dont add together, because these arent technically windows LIVE games right?

I can't get the achievements for killing 500 and 1000 dark s. enemies, even though I slayed lots more than 1000...can you help me?

Some have had success by using the Warden to kill the darkspawn solo. Some needed to clear the cache and play the game unpatched to achieve them.

There is a bug regarding the achievements though as I understand it.

Silly Micro$oft only lets Xbox LIVE or Games for Windows LIVE games have achievements on them. Since the PC version of the game technically aren't Games for Windows LIVE they only get the same amount of achievements as the 360 version does to make it "fair". Kind of pathetic if you ask me. I mean that Micro$oft limits amount of gamer score a game can give and that Bioware wouldn't just pick some of the other achievements to add up tot he max of 1750 that Micro$oft allows. I mean they aren't going to add anything to DA:O now that DA2 is out. Might as well settle on an update for the "extra" achievements to add up in gamer score.

Maybe this is an unnecessary question, but as ThisIsDante pointed out, the Blight Queller and Master Warden achievements do not show up on the 360 no matter the amount I have killed. I've done numerous playthroughs, I have the ultimate edition and played Awakening as well as all of the DLC, but the achievement does not go through. I played solo on the Orzammar and a few of the main quests and kept track of the Darkspawn killcount. I know it sounds petty to complain about an achievement not popping up, but I was wondering if this bug would be fixed.

Unless the devs are working on a 1.05 patch for consoles it seems doubtful (I am aware they have plans for a PC version but that will be of no help to console owners).

As I understand it there is a workaround for those achievements, though I admit I'm not familiar with the UE so I'm not sure how that would work.

The solution I have come across several times requires clearing the cache (which is to unpatch the game but UE comes with patch 1.04 so I'm not sure if clearing the cache will remove it), and then play the game unpatched to get the achievements. (Note: I played the game unpatched before ever going on Live and the achievements popped for me.)

It has been mentioned that the glitch was a result of a certain patch though I don't recall which patch is supposed to be the problematic one.
