Yes and no. It *can* be done without retconning anything. It just requires a little creative thinking.
You could end up being 100% right, I'm not discounting that. All I am saying is that arbitrarily saying something *cannot* happen isn't the most logical of responses. Mainly because narratively, and with the different sve titles, it does lead to another sequel which will likely have Sheppard in it in some way.
I suppose anything could happen. I personally no longer have faith in them avoiding the easy way out, but anything could happen. I definitely didn't see ME3's ending coming... <_<
I'm curious about the save names, were they named pre EC?

Did you know the release date? Just because the idea was known doesn't mean a business isn't going to announce it anyway. There's no reward if you think you are awesome because you already knew about this dlc.

I'm looking forward to FINALLY having a weapon pack for SP, but if you're going to make us pay for MP weapons that were free you could have at least put all the Resurgence and Earth weapons in the pack too.
Same here but it's better than just having three weapons.

But it's not in the game.Zanza86 wrote...
Paying for content already in the game? No thanks.

Agreed. It was horrendously easy to mod the Rebellion pack into single player. Then comes the Rebellion and Earth pack and it's now impossible. This means Bioware spent dev time and resources specifically to lock these out of single player when they were free from the start in multiplayer.Joker1117 wrote...

Honestly, I'm having a hard enough time deciding whether or not I want Leviathan in the first place but the weapon pack is ridiculous. Over 70% of the Firefight pack people have had in multiplayer for months and these weapons should have been available in single player from the start. Just under $1.50 of the $2 weapon pack is weapons countless people already have. While this means two new weapons for 50 cents it ends up feeling like $1 per weapon because there really is only two new ones.
In my opinion, Bioware should have released two singleplayer weapon packs on Tuesday. One free one that contains the Rebellion weapons and one paid one with three brand new weapons. Then down the line a second wave of weapon packs would come out that has the Earth weapons and three more paid new ones. Resurgence would go in with Leviathan since most PC users probably already have them in single player.

I see it includes 2 of the 3 pre-order weapons(AT12 Raider shotgun and M55 Argus),but couldn't you have included the N7 Valkyrie as well?
Most Likely they couldn't. They might have a similar deal like xbox 360 & PC never getting Blackstorm in Mass Effect 2.

My Shepard died in the endings.
Besides that after the face import bug that was not fixed, the 4000 Ems debacle to get all endings, All autodialog and more and more i dont wish to support the Mass Effect franchise anymore.
So i wont buy it and maybe ill watch it on Youtube.
Take Care
Same goes for me, I've got no anticipation for SP DLC. I to will watch when it goes on youtube. Not wasting my money on a gamble. Mass Effect DLC used to be a no brainer and I willingly spent my money. Lair of the Shadow Broker is the best one yet. But after that tragiclly awful attempt at an ending (EC just polished the turd like I expected) that completely destroyed everything leading up to it, I don't see how this DLC will add anything to the story itself. The Reapers are giant play toys of some annoying ghost child, there is your Reaper history!!

Yep. Earth weapons probably would have required some work to add in SP but it wouldn't have been anything major by any means, and all Resurgence weapons can already be used in SP within literally seconds of editing and they work just fine. I've probably defended Bioware more than the average person here but this is ridiculous. Only 2 out of 7 are new. If you ask me, the 9 MP weapons should have been added to Citadel Stores as part of a title update for free.

Id argue that their ending of ME3 was far from the easy way out, the idea that is. EC was a. Dry weled addition... But that's probably a Convo fror elsewhere
Anywhas, yup the save names were pre-EC but still carry over post.

Reapers origin? Really? Isn't this is exactly what should have been already covered in game?
I thought we were unable to comprehend the existence of the Reapers. They have no beginning or end, they are infinite, or so says Sovereign in your conversation with it back in ME1. The Reapers have been this great mystery, the epitome of pure evil. I would be completely satisfied not knowing the Reaper's past. Not knowing makes them a much more terrifying force, yet somehow if we had an ending where we were able to defeat them because we were unified as a galaxy, as no other cycle has been before, it would have totally fit with the main underlying theme of the story since game 1. Victory through unity, succeeding over impossible odds. Bioware, in my opinion, already ruined the reason behind the Reaper existence in that garbage ending taking the lazy way out. How much more can they muck this up? We'll soon find out I guess.
