Like you said it will probably be just a few extra dialogues lines.

If they praise it as the next LOTSB DLC I'm in... If it's just another ''Witch Hunt'' DLC they can forget about it.
One of the great things about LotSB is that it showed Mass Effect stretching its legs in a sci-fi setting without
"REAPERS REAPERS REAPERS" being shouted into our ears the whole time. I just like character-driven storylines.
Mass Effect would have been a deep and interesting universe with diverse conflicts and troubles to involve people in. It's a pity they put the Reapers into it, really.

Who is "they"? The DLC isn't even out yet!

Not that I didn't enjoy Arrival at all, but aside from its ending, the DLC as a whole left me very underwhelmed-- and then the events of Arrival had, like, no impact on ME3 to boot. It apparently has a one-off bland new character with a personal stake in which we're not invested (actually similar looking to Arrival's doctor), a new location to visit, a new gimmick (underwater Atlas this time, instead of just going solo) and very little chance to have a real impact on the story.
Yup. It's Arrival again.

Me1!!! and later Me2 was everything i needed in playing an SF adventure.. I loved it all!
Then ME 3 came out... i was looking so much forward on having it...
But i got the Face Import Bug.. My Shep facial structure could not be imported into Me3
Then i got all 4000 EMS can be reached in SP only and i was supoosed to get all endings..
Then i saw the PR ppl from EA and Bioware/EA telling me things that just were not correct.
So NO bw/EA you lost me. I am most mad about all the lies that were told.
And now expecting me to pay 12$?
No No Way...
I completly lost my fate in you .(BW/EA)
I feel terrible about that ! But i did have to choose.. And my choice is.. No BW/EA i dont trust you anymore, I dont believe anything you say anymore..
You lost me.
I dearly incredible loved the ME franchise.... Until march 2012.

They would make you pay for the good dlc, the multiplayer bad dlc is all free
It's fairly easy to understand if you think about it. MP generates money through micro-transactions so I'd imagine it pays for itself. SP, on the other hand, needs to recoup its dev costs via paid DLC.

Shadow broker was only the, what, third DLC for ME2. This certainly looks better than Overlord, so they have time to work on the formula. Shadow Broker also managed to fill in some "holes" in the original, so I'm hoping they'll think of a creative way to link Dark Energy back in at some point. And ME2 LI's, but hey, I know wishful thinking when I see it, even when it's my own.mybudgee wrote...
Looks Meh... Looks like they cannot "out Shadow" the Broker DLC..
I'd hate for anybody's gaming budget to be 20 $ for the next two months. While I definitely agree with your first part, this is pretty much the second item on the list for the foreseeable future.ThaddeusPL wrote...
10$ for 3-4 hour DLC? Better spend twice more (19.99$) for Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition - a lot more gamlpay.
I must be honest this crappy ending prevent me from replaying ME3. I even dont play ECDLC.
And hey, if you didn't play the EC, why still waste time here?

The Firefight Pack looks nice too! But now I have to decide whether to equip Tali with the Geth Plasma Shotgun or the Reegar... Decisions, decisions...

Firefight Weapons Pack
Players will soon be able to arm themselves with the Firefight Pack, a new Single Player Weapon Pack available for download (...)
Indra Sniper Rifle: Fully automatic sniper rifle.(...)
- The Indra's low-powered scope leaves it most effective at medium range, but many soldiers believe this limitation is offset by the gun's rapid rate of fire. The Indra is the first military-grade, fully automatic sniper rifle. It has an extremely efficient heat-sink system that allows a surprisingly large number of shots to be fired before the weapon ejects its thermal clip.
Chris, I already have the M-90 Indra installed in the SP game because I got a key site in the alienware. Will it give any problem?

Really looking forward to getting more story, content, and exploration into SP. Hopefully the first of many. Deffinitely going to get Leviathan, might/might not get the weapons pack. We'll see, I guess.

Looks good. I kind of figured that all the free MP stuff was acting as a testing ground for weapons they were going to add to SP eventually. Now just to get the maps from MP into SP too.

I'm curious about the two weapons in the Firefight Pack (Blood Pack Punisher SMG and the other one). The Harrier assault rifle looks like it can do some damage too.

Also, how will the weapon DLC affect Multiplayer? Will the two "new" weapons make it to Multiplayer? If so, will they only be available for people who bought it, or will they be available for everyone?

really the reapers are interesting but the fact you have a race that destroys the universe every 50,000 years is the real problem(or atleast adding them from the begining) I mean how to you go past this kind of conflict, how do you 1 up it. they had an awesome universe but added an element that destroys it.fealhach wrote...

Hey, Gears of War 3: RAAM's Shadow was $15 for a 2- 2 & 1/2 hours of Campaign and some characters. Plus, this is an expansion really, not a DLC. I can't wait to explore more of the Citadel (I'd still love to go back to Illium if it isn't completely destroyed...ThaddeusPL wrote...

If you hate it so much, why the hell are you coming to the forums!? Just get out and leave it to the people who still like Mass Effect.
Looking forward to Leviathan. I still haven't replayed the game to see the extended cut but will be soon. Hopefully Leviathan comes out in time for me to play it in this playthrough!
Normally wouldn't buy the weapon pack, but I've really been wanting to try the Harrier and it seems like I'll never get it in MP, so I think I'll plop down a couple bucks to give it a go.

Garrus with the new sniper + the phaston or argus assault(which I have)
you know for rpg reasons so I will get it. plus 8 new weapons for me that adds some new play options. hope they add the other mp weapons eventually also.
