Good to finally see some SP love... still, we already know it ultimately won't change anything - so we must fail to get anything out of it...

Hmm... time for the internal debate about whether or not it's worth the points/time.

I dunno. I mean, the Fallout 3 expansions didn't touch the main plotline, but they were all good, so 'must fail to get anything out of it' can't be true, can it?

Looks cool but if nothing we do, no major decisions, people saved, reapers killed, mysteries unravelled, amount of war assets gained, or anything will remotely change the galaxy from getting the finger in the end, there just isnt any point. At all. Guess I'll be "learning more about the Reapers" on the wonderful world of Youtube.

That and looking at From Ashes, it'll probably be 90% shooting and 10% anything else.

The Firefight Weapons Pack looks cool, although I still dont think its worth buying. Especially since we already downloaded most of those weapons for MP.

wtf is the point in this?
if i can only kill reapers with the crucible what is the point in finding something capable killing one? how will it contribute to the story in any meaningful way?

and your seriously selling content that was free in MP?

Why are people seriously complaining about the 2 bucks weapon pack..

The reason its free on MP is so you cant "buy to win" new weapons. Everyone get them "since they are free" and have a random chance of getting it.

The weapon pack are SINGLE PLAYER items, meaning you don't want it, don't buy it, you can't complain if someone els buys them since it wont affect YOUR single player.

And god damn its 2 bloody bucks.

A couple of lines of dialogue from the Catalyst I would guess, and if we're "lucky", further expansion of the pants-on-head retarded idea of Synthesis. *shudders*.
It sounds like this DLC is barely even worth checking out on Youtube.

well - sure i will buy all mass effect DLC as soon it is out, but more out of principe...
- i mean, what should i really have from a SP-weapon-DLC? am i not doomed to the pistol of doom anymore (the in all sidearm-wield-cutscences appearing predator-"ultra-common"-pistol, but just in even un-upgraded if i do not have got my, at least a bit more swaggy/ flashy upgraded one with me)?
has there something chanded about this in the past months, i have not touched the ME3-SP? (sure, at least shotgun&sniper-boomsticks are completly outta this thematic,
so "cheapness-issue-free" from that out)
- and please do not get me wrong - i of course appreciate the adding of content to the SP,
even more the introducing of the former MP-exclusive guns to the SP too of course - and in the end: "more nice stuff is allways right" - sure!
but was it not even that way, that your AI-squadmates where not even able to handle most
not-fully-automatic-guns (excluding heavy pistols) - like my james vega bringing out
!!a single shot!!  (and yes, i mean  !!one single round!! )  per ten seconds out of his argus-!!three-rounds-burst!!-rifle for extremest of example?
or does the difficulty-setting influence squadmate-AI and the one in which i experienced this was too low? has there something changed about this in the meantime?
well, i am glad for every extra-content anyway, but just saying that it appears to me like a lot of nerve or ignorance or both from bioware, to come out now with selling a singleplayer-weapons-DLC (if this issues have not been fixed in the meantime without me having taken notice from it...)!
p.s.:
sorry for the surely implemented errors in this english text of mine,
but english is not my native language - i just hope it is not too much, "it should make do",
as usual i guess...
- and i hope this is not going to be flagged for any spoiling-stuff (am not complete aware of the exact rule-state for this single forum by now, but there was zero story-point spelling out in it, it should work as well, i guess ...) .

About squad mates you are right, that is why i gave Saber X to all npcs who can carry it, and M-77 to those who can not. If they about to fire once in ten seconds at least they will hit hard. (but of course they are not.)
On insanity your squad mates are useless unless you have 2 Biotics like Liara+Alenko combo with warp+reave.
But i want some AI improvments on enemy's level rather than for squad mates. Game is simple, insanity level is not even close to ME2 level of difficulty.

Even though I sort of knew this was coming - gotta say I'm disappointed and upset with where Bioware is going lately with DLC like this. I want to support you guys I really do. I want your games to be great and any expansion material to be just that... but this sort of DLC is just wrong.

You do not seperate central story material and sell it off later as an add-on. Anything that goes into detail about the Reapers origins either needed to be included in ME3 from the start or later in a full sequel. Folks shouldn't have to download, much less buy, a DLC months afterward to fill in the gaps of the main story. I don't get the logic of this at all. You guys claim you want to make these games accessible to everyone, even new players, yet here you are doing the exact opposite. This is disservice to all fans and all possible fans as you are deliberately excluding people from core storyline content again. Is the miniscule $10 really worth it? Honestly if I didn't know any better I'd say you guys are almost  trying to destroy the series or something at this point.

And I'm not saying I want "Free DLC" either okay. I know full well it takes time and effort to create any game content. I do not expect any Expansion Material to be free. Though oddly enough this hasn't stopped you from offering several multiplayer packs for free. So folks who play the multiplayer get everything on platter but those of us who just want to play the singleplayer are SOL? Seriously what is this? Are you trying to drive away your singleplayer fanbase? Sure seems like it.

I'm just at loss for this kind of callous greed. It is making it extremely difficult for me to even consider myself a fan anymore as I feel obligated to urge folks not to support you in such cases. Since you obviously do not have the best interest of your fans at heart anymore as far as I can tell. I sincerely hope you will see reason before you lose anymore of the fanbase you then already have.  And if not... so be it.
=]

HELL YEAH!  Well written thoughts inline with how I feel.

If the new DLC will be as good as the shadow broker DLC in ME 2 thenn it will be worth playing and paying for......Other wise now there is frankly no point....Might as well start making a new game called Mass Effect :Origins..........or the Mass effect Evolution.....

You got the N7 weapons

From Ashes.

The dog (admittedly utterly pointless)

etc.

You got every single thing you were promised in it.

Grow up.

And the N7 hoodie I would have gotten the collecters edition just for that hoddie and the sweet FemShep tin box art.
