I'm really disliking Mike Gamble right now.  If it won't have any effect on the outcome of the ending, it's totally not worth dishing out the cash.  That horrible ending already ruined the Reaper lore, I fear this DLC will trash it even more.  Those of you that are going to buy it, you're in the minority now.  It wouldn't surprise me if Bioware has lost 2/3rds of their fan base.  I owe Bioware nothing.  They made great successes in the Mass Effect franchise and I give credit for that, unfortunately they failed to deliver on the apsects that mattered most when it mattered most, character focus, genre, and narrative coherency.  And again, it destroyed the Reaper lore, "massive play toys for ghost child."  Makes me sick.  Instead of an epically satisfying conclusion, we got a total epic fail.  For me, there is no satisfaction in a forced 3-prong decision ending in which none of what I did essentially matters at all.  Don't forget Bioware said they wouldn't force us into something like that pre-launch.  Lies!!!  At most they say with this new DLC you'll get some more insight, some new dialogue lines and maybe some extra cut scenes.  Big deal.  I'll read about it or watch a youtube video of it for free.  At least Lair of the Shadow Broker played an essential role to the rest of the series.  But $10 for war assests that won't affect my outcome?  Thanks but no thanks.  I'm done giving Bioware my money.

You are entitled to whatever opinions you want guy but if you got nothing constructive and productive to say just go do your tantrum somewhere else like 4Chan or something.

This is going to be the equivalent of Arrival for ME3. Nothing that happens matters in how the game ends, or even how it plays out. Maybe will adds an interesting enough story, some cool cinematic, and is probably used by bioware to test something, namely, our baseline tolerance for badly priced DLCs.

If this keeps going on, ME3 will be the KofA:R for bioware. maybe it already is. time will tell.

I find it amazing that people complaining about Leviathan all seem to be arguing that we should be getting paid-for dlc that changes the ending. Can you imagine what would have happened if Bioware had actually said 'Ok, we're going to give you a new ending, but for $10'? There'd have been an outcry - and probably from exactly the same people too.

For those people clamouring for a new new ending, can I ask just one thing: Could you please name the game you're thinking of that offered a paid-for dlc that did exactly that, given that you're so sure it's the right thing to do? Because for the life of me I can't think of one.

It's also been a while since the last time I deleted a game I paid $100 for immediately after the first run through.<_<

Personally, I think the entire game was rushed, plot holes and missed opportunities to tie up loose ends everywhere, one dlc is not going to do much at this point. The ending merely anti-climaxed the whole thing, starting with that last novel.

Like what Leviathan could be, other DLCs people would like Bioware to make like join Aria to take back Omega, maybe take some of the new MP powers and make a pack so Shep can get them in SP, maybe what could the next game in the series look like if Bioware decides to make one.

I would rather talk about that then argue with a bunch of children about how mean Bioware was to them during recess.

I don't even care, I hope Leviathan is another reaper, and all signs point to that being so. I just love talking to reapers, except for Harbinger there at the end of arrival. I'm just a little sad that it looks like the majority of the DLC will be played out against Reapers who are my least favorite enemies to fight. Still, I am excited for this DLC, and not to get greedy or anything, but I hope another SP DLC announcement follows hot on the heels of Leviathan's release.

How can you be so sure there are no changes? There isn't that much info about the DLC out there, for the most part it is an unknown. Have a little faith man.

It may just be because I have a tendency to irrationally dislike things when everyone seems to love them, but I don't really want an Omega DLC. If temp squadmate DLC comes out, I'd vastly prefer it to be missions involving former squadmates, especially since pretty much all of what we got during the campaign was cutscenes. I'm just not crazy about Omega. As long as they're making plenty of SP DLC, though, I'm content.

The journey is what mattered too me not the end, and I have many fond memories from mass effect as a whole.

I couldn't agree more with you Yaren.

And to each his own Pirate, I think an Omega DLC would be one hell of a ride. Just the dialogue between Aria and Shep during a fight would be worth it for me.

That'd be cool indeed, although personally I'd prefer a scenario where you play as Aria, who'd have her own henchmen to choose from as squadmates(like a Batarian soldier, Krogan Warmaster, etc.).

A Mass Effect MMORPG? That would indeed be interesting, though I would have to say that it would need to take place before humans discovered the mass relay just so they would have more freedom with stories, characters, and expansions.
